Generally, it is recommended that you install the most recent Support Package Stack for the SAP Solution Manager. Patches are available from the SAP Service Marketplace: service.sap.com/swdc.

SAP Note 892412 (Upgrade Solution Manager 4.0) includes an overview of software components and Support Package levels that must be installed in your SAP Solution Manager system.

For BBPCRM, you can only load Support Packages, for which Conflict Resolution Transports (CRTs) for the SAP Solution Manager exist. This implies that there are periods in time in which a Support Package for BBPCRM can not be applied. The Support Package Stack definition recommends when to load specific Support Packages.

3.1.4.2 Automatic Generation of RFC Destinations

The optional function for Automatic Generation of RFC Destinations requires the following Support Package levels in the satellite systems:

3.6.2 Single Sign-On in SAP Service Marketplace

To access the SAP Service Marketplace from the SAP Solution Manager without having to enter a user and password each time, use Single Sign-On. When you log on using Single Sign-On, you are automatically and securely authenticated to the system.
