Vehicle Approach and Front Inspection
Objectives:
1.0 After reviewing the online learning module, learners orally describe and demonstrate how to approach and inspect the front of vehicle using only the DMV CDL Vehicle Inspection Memory Aid.
1.1 After reviewing the online learning module, learners orally describe and demonstrate how to approach the combination vehicle for inspection using only the DMV CDL Vehicle Inspection
Memory Aid.
1.2 After reviewing the online learning module, learners orally describe and demonstrate how to inspect the lights and reflectors using only the DMV CDL Vehicle Inspection Memory Aid.
1.3 After reviewing the online learning module, learners orally describe and demonstrate how to inspect the engine compartment using only the DMV CDL Vehicle Inspection Memory Aid.
1.4 After reviewing the online learning module, learners orally describe and demonstrate how to inspect the steering components using only the DMV CDL Vehicle Inspection Memory Aid.

• Student Grouping/Media Selection: Learners will individually and independently watch this cluster presentation within an eComplete online module. Video content will be delivered in short modules in congruence with the clusters. Practice tests with immediate feedback will be delivered between video clusters to actively engage
the learners. Learners will have access to the DMV CDL Vehicle Inspection Memory Aid within Blackboard.
Student Participation:
• Practice Items and activities: YouTube video content will be delivered via Blackboard in short modules in
congruence with cluster content. Practice tests with immediate feedback will be embedded between video to actively engage the learners for the duration of the module.
The video and practice content will be in one eComplete online module.

Objectives:
