3.9.16 Managing Work Environments for Clinical Work Station
Use
The purpose of this activity is to create work environments for clinical work station. The clinical work station provides an ergonomic interface for facilitating work on the care unit.
Users or user groups can now be provided with predefined patient lists as a starting point for their daily work.
For the following procedures, if you need to install in both English and target language, please be noted you may first install in English, then log in system with target language for the description maintenance for each sub procedure, eg, 3.9.16.1.
Prerequisites
Users are created.
3.9.16.1 Outpatient Admission Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP ECC menu Hospital Patient management Care Unit Management Care Unit Care Unit Work Station
Transaction code NWP1
2. On the Clinical Work Station screen, choose menu Settings Manage Work Environments.
3. On the Work Environments of Clinical Work Station screen, choose New Work Envrionment, on the Create Work Environment screen, make the following entries:
Field name Values - English Values - Chinese
Work Environment Outpatient Admission 门诊挂号
Institution 1000
4. Choose Enter.
5. On the bottom of the pop-up screen, choose Create View.
6. On the Create View screen, make the following entries:

View Type 007
View Outpatient Admission 门诊挂号
7. Choose button Create on the right of Selection Variant.
8. On the ABAP: Variants – Initial Screen, make the following entry:

9. Choose Create.
10. On the Variants: Change Screen Assignment screen, choose For All Selection Screens, choose Continue.
11. On the Maintain Variants: Report RN1WPVIEW007, Variant YC_OADMISSION, Screen screen, make the following entries:

12. Choose Next Screen.
13. Choose Attibutes.
14. On the Variant Attributes screen, make the following entry:

19. On the screen Change Layout, Choose the following fields from right side to left side with the button Show Selected Fields.

3.9.16.2 Respiratory Outpatient Treatment Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

3.9.16.4 Cardiac Outpatient Treatment Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

8. On the screen Change Assignment Data, change the Field name from Outpatient Treatment to Cardiac Outpatient Treatment. Choose Enter.
9. Choose Save.
