Nurse Nadia’s Online help...

Dear Nurse Nadia,

I think I have a problem. You see, I woke up yesterday with a really bad headache and backache.

I took painkillers, but they didn’t help. Today I have a terrible sore throat and a temperature.

Also, when I try to eat something, I get a stomach ache. Is it serious? Should I go to a doctor?

Sick in Surrey Dear Sick,

That sounds like the flu! You should drink a lot of fluids, like water and orange juice, and get some rest. Your body is tired and going to school or work isn’t going to help at all. You shouldn’t go out, just stay in bed. If you still feel bad in a few days, you should definitely see a doctor!

Take care, Nurse
