This diagram is a guide to the sequence to be followed when dismantling motorcycle components. The diagram is designed to show the sequence to be followed for removing the engine from the frame; it also shows partial sequences for other components. Select the component you wish to remove and then follow the arrows to see which other parts you will have to disassemble.

in corrispondenza del perno di fulcraggio posteriore del serbatoio.0

Quando si abbassa if serbatoio e necessaria che Ia tubazione

venga installata tra caval/otto di supporto sella e bilanciere della sospensione posteriore. In questa modo si evitera che detta tubazione rimanga schiacciata tra serbatoio e cava/lotto del telaio (vedi figura).TANK DISCONNECTION

Lift the tank using the service rod to hold it in position.0
Empty the tank through the drain plug on the bottom left.0
Loosen the clamp(2)
on the feed line(M).

Remove this line from the corresponding connectors together with the drain(0)
and breather tube (5) of the filler cap.0
Disconnect the union(3)
of the fuel sensor.0
Remove the clip(4)
from the rear pivot pin of the tank.0
Remove the pivot pin and take out the tank from the frame..A. When refitting the tank, the feed line

should have its original curve facing the rear.Warning
When the tank is lowered, the line
(M)
should be installed between the U bolt supporting the seat and the rear suspension rocker. This is to avoid the line from being crushed between the tank and the U bolt of the frame (see figure).Sostituzione gruppo tappo carbutrante

A Instal/are if gommino facendo/o aderire perfettamente nella sede del pozzetto,

Le batterie producono dei gas esplosivi' tenerle fontana da fonti di calore e da! fuoco, Sistemare Ia batter/a in un !uogo ben ventilato, Portare sempre occhiali e guanti di protezione quando si opera vicino alia batter/a,
.lo. Quando si rimonta Ia batter/a e necessaria app!icare nella zona di contatto dei terminal/ sui poli batteria spray protettivo per contatti elettrici e serrare saldamente /e viti di fissaggio,

To remove the fuel filler cap unit, proceed as follows,,
0 Open the filler cap,
0 Unscrew the 3 outer screws (J) fixing the ring nut to the fuel filler recess,
0 Unscrew the anti-theft screw (2) on the inside,
0 Remove the complete filler cap unit
The breather hose seal (3) is seated inside the filler recess,
A When fitting a new seal, a uniform film of speed bond adhesive in the hose seal housing,
A Fit the seal and ensure that it is correctly seated in the filler recess,

0 Release the fastening rubber bands,
0 Disconnect the breather tube (7 r 0 Disconnect the BLACK negative
(A) first and then the RED positive terminal (Br ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY CABLES IN T/--1/S ORDER,
0 Remove the battery from the mount
Batteries produce explosive gases, Store batteries in well ventilated conditions away from sources of heat or naked flames, Always wear safety goggles and gloves when handling batteries, A At reassembly, spread a film of protective grease for electrical contacts on the battery terminals, Tighten the terminal screws securely
