MS Exchange Throttling attributes

This attribute group contains attributes that are related to the client throttling policies.

Note: The attribute group is available in Exchange Server 2010, or later. This attribute group is a multi-instance attribute group.

Throttling Instance NameThe name of the Microsoft Exchange Throttling instance. The value format is an alphanumeric string with a maximum length of 600 characters.

Active PowerShell RunspacesThe number of currently active Windows PowerShell runspaces that have been hosted by the Exchange Server. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Active PowerShell Runspaces/SecThe number of currently active Windows PowerShell runspaces that are hosted by the Exchange Server per second. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Average Task Wait TimeThe average amount of time (in milliseconds) that was spent between adding and removing a task from the task queue. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Average Thread Sleep TimeThe average amount of time (in milliseconds) for which the threads are idle.

The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Current Delayed TasksThe number of tasks that are currently delayed because of throttling. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Delay Time ThresholdThe amount of time (in milliseconds) a single operation must be delayed in 1 minute before the value in the Users Delayed X Milliseconds attribute is incremented. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Exchange Executing CmdletsThe number of Exchange cmdlets that are currently processed. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Exchange Executing Cmdlets/SecThe number of Exchange cmdlets that are currently processed per second. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Max Delay Per MinuteThe maximum amount of time for which a caller was delayed in the current 1-minute window because of throttling. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Max Delayed TasksThe maximum number of tasks that have been delayed since the service was started.

The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Max Effective Time In Active Directory Per MinuteThe maximum percentage of time that is spent on processing LDAP requests in the current 1-minute window. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is not available in Exchange Server 2013. The Undefined enumeration value is displayed on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for Exchange Server 2013.

Max Effective Time In Address Book Per MinuteThe maximum percentage of time that is spent on processing AddressBook requests in the current 1-minute window. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is not available in Exchange Server 2013. The Undefined enumeration value is displayed on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for Exchange Server 2013.

Max Effective Time In CAS Per MinuteThe maximum percentage of time that was spent to process the Client Access server code in the last 1 minute. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is not available in Exchange Server 2013. The Undefined enumeration value is displayed on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for Exchange Server 2013.

Max Effective Time In MailboxRPC Per MinuteThe maximum percentage of time that is spent on processing MailboxRPC requests in the current 1-minute window. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is not available in Exchange Server 2013. The Undefined enumeration value is displayed on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for Exchange Server 2013.

Max Task Queue LengthThe maximum length of the task queue. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Max Worker Thread CountThe maximum number of worker threads to which work items are assigned.

The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

New Task RejectionsThe total number of new tasks that are rejected. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

New Task Rejections/SecThe current number of new tasks that are rejected per second. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

New Tasks Submitted/SecThe number of new tasks that are submitted per second. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Noninteractive Cutoff PercentThe cut-off percentage at which noninteractive client connections to the mailbox server are interrupted. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

OverBudget ThresholdThe number of times a user must go over budget in 1 minute to increment the Users X Times OverBudget attribute. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is not available in Exchange Server 2013. The Undefined enumeration value is displayed on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for Exchange Server 2013.

Task Failures/SecThe total number of tasks that have failed per second. The value format is a 4-byte float.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Total New TasksThe total number of new tasks that are submitted for processing. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Total Task FailuresThe total number of tasks that have failed. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is available only in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1.

Total Unique BudgetsThe total number of unique budgets that are processed in the current 1-minute window. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is not available in Exchange Server 2013. The Undefined enumeration value is displayed on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for Exchange Server 2013.

Unique Budgets OverBudgetThe number of unique budgets that have exceeded the OverBudget threshold in the current 1-minute window. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Note: This attribute is not available in Exchange Server 2013. The Undefined enumeration value is displayed on the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for Exchange Server 2013.

Users Delayed X MillisecondsThe number of users that have to wait for X or more milliseconds in 1 minute. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Users X Times OverBudgetThe total number of users for which the requests are rejected more than X times in the current 1-minute window. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

Worker Thread CountThe total number of worker threads to which work items are assigned. The value format is a 4-byte integer.

System NameThe key for the table view in the format hostname: EX. This character string provides a unique identifier for each server across an enterprise. The value is an alphanumeric string with a maximum length of 64 characters.

TimestampThe time when data was collected. The format is MM/DD/YY HH:mm:SS, where the following measures apply:

mm Minute

SS Second
