You can print labels or envelopes directly from Abacus, and, take all of your information with you by printing Laser Calendars and reports in many formats.
Printing Calendars
From the main menu, select Calendar/Print Options. The following window appears:
Click the calendar or report you want to print and click OK. The following window appears with all the settings initialized. You can make changes or just click OK.
What to Print Select the report or calendar you want to print
Laser Calendars You can print your events on attractive graphical calendars in several formats.
Customize!
If the standard printout is not what you want, click on Report. All layouts can be edited for just the look you want.
Timeframes Specify the days you want to print by clicking Interval.
Reports for You Only Print calendars showing just your events by setting the Who to your initials.
Printing Client and Matter Lists
Any time you want to print a particular set of records, such as all the linked names for a matter, or all the What codes for an event, it’s easiest to display the window where you normally see the information, and click Print. For example, to display a Matter window, click the Linked Names tab, and then click Print to print a list of all the names linked to the matter. This is easier than printing from the Reports menu, where you would need to choose a query to print just the names linked to a particular matter.
Printing Reports
Alternatively, you can utilize the powerful reporting functions of AbacusLaw by printing from the Reports menu. To print a report, select File/Reports. The following menu appears:
Select any option from this menu and a Report Control window, similar to the Events Report Control window, appears. Choose your options and click Print.

Abacus Personal Injury Special Edition includes a sample Firm Productivity Report that enables you to quickly determine the success of your firm, based on the number and types of cases handled in a certain time period compared to any other time period. This information will help you determine your firm’s productivity, may guide you in making hiring decisions, and determine trends in the firm’s handling of case types.
To run Abacus Personal Injury Special Edition Productivity report: 1. Click on File/Reports/Matters.
2. Scroll to find the Firm Productivity by Year report and check the box.
3. Click OK.
4. Choose the desired “Output to” destination.
5. Click Print to run the report

Case Phase Report
Abacus Personal Injury Special Edition includes a Case Phase Report that will help you manage cases and firm operations more efficiently. At any time, you can run the Case Phase Report and generate a list of the cases in each phase of a personal injury case. Armed with that information, you can quickly determine case
management problems such as too many cases in any particular phase and anticipate busy periods based on the number of cases in litigation. Having a breakdown of the number of cases in each personal injury phase will help you prioritize your cases and schedule your time more efficiently.
To run Abacus Personal Injury Special Edition Case Phase Report: 1. Click on File/Reports/Matters.
2. Click the Report button on the Report Control Screen.
3. Scroll to find the Case Phase Report.
4. Click OK.
5. Choose the desired “Output to” destination.
6. Click Print to run the report.
Statue of Limitations Report
Abacus Personal Injury Special Edition includes a sample report that enables you to track your cases approaching the statute of limitation deadline.
