Minimum Qualifications:
A.
i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
ii) A Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University or equivalent degree from a foreign University.
iii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/ College, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology – mediated teaching learning process.
v) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the UGC Regulations 2010 and published in the University Website.

B. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contribution to the Knowledge in the Concerned / allied / relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

1. One signed hard copy of the filled up online applications (Part A & Part B) along with Registration Fee and copies of documents to prove age, community, qualifications, percentage of marks, experience, copies / reprints of publication (if any) with proof of impact factor etc. should reach the Registrar, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi – 682 022 before 5.00 PM on 25.09.2015. Candidates who have applied online but failed to submit the hard copies of the application in time will not be considered for selection. Four hard copies of the filled up online applications (Part A &
Part B) and 4 copies/reprints of publications shall be produced at the time of certificate verification in connection with the interview. The Subject/specialization and the serial number of the post as given in the notification should also be clearly mentioned in the column ‘post applied for’ in the application.
2. Separate applications (online), along with prescribed Registration fee, should be submitted for each post having separate serial Numbers.
