Day Program Schedule:

The day program consists of classes that typically meet four days a week for six hours daily for 30 weeks.

Following this portion of the program, students complete a 180 clock hours externship. Normal completion time is 35 weeks excluding vacation periods and holidays.

Evening Program Schedule:

The evening program consists of classes that typically meet four days a week for four hours a day for 45 weeks.

Following this portion of the program, students complete a 180 clock hours externship. Normal completion time is 50 weeks excluding vacation periods and holidays.

Weekend Program Schedule:

The weekend program consists of classes that typically meet two days a week, Friday and Saturday, for eight hours each day for approximately 45 weeks. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive base for basic structure and function of the human body and its organ systems. Students are expected to learn the vocabulary and terms necessary to understand the principles of body structure and their function. This module begins with body organization, chemistry, cell structure and key terminology for each of the following systems are covered: Integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, special senses, cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic, endocrine, digestive, urinary, and reproductive. Students can also learn how these systems relate to each other, as well as the common illnesses and conditions associated with each system. Students will be expected to use proper medical language in describing these systems. To further enhance the learning process, students will be introduced to the world of the operating room and its supplies,

instrumentation, equipment, room setup and the common terminology of the OR this term.
