5. Program Delivery

5.3. Student Feedback

5.3.4. Program /Departmental Student Feedback Processes

The School of Community and Health Studies has developed a process for student feedback each semester through “Class Climate” surveys. The surveys provide a course and instructor evaluation form that is given to the students at the end of each course for every semester. The program produces a general course report for courses that have several sections and different teachers, as well as individualized reports. The reports are reviewed in May-June as the teacher reflects on their practice and participates in annual Program review activities. In addition, teachers may use formative tools such as “Stop- Start-Continue” in the first few weeks to allow for adjustment of teaching strategies. The following is the Class Climate evaluation used for courses at the end of each semester in the School of Community and Health Studies.
