3 COMPUTE RESOURCE POOL

3.1 Using Compute Resource Pool

3.1.1 Referring the Compute Resource Pool

Referring the Compute Resource Pool (Overview) 3.1.1.1

Following is the procedure for referring overview of the Compute Resource Pool.

1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and then click [2].

2. The purchased Compute Resource Pool list appears on the Manage Compute Resource Pool screen (Overview tab).

Click the Compute Resource Pool to be referred.

(Click [3] because the Compute Resource Pool to be referred this time is [test].)

3. Detailed information of the Compute Resource Pool is displayed.

Refer to the following table (information that can be referred with the Overview tab) for contents to be displayed for each item.

* Information that can be referred in the Overview tab for Compute Resource Pool.

Item Contents to be displayed

a Total value of vCPU allocated to vApp in this Compute Resource Pool b Purchased value of vCPU of this Compute Resource Pool

c Total value of memory that has already been allocated to vApp in this Compute Resource Pool

d Purchased value of the memory in this Compute Resource Pool

e Total value of disk that has already been allocated to vApp in this Compute Resource Pool f Purchased value of the disk in this Compute Resource Pool

g Computing class and storage class of this Compute Resource Pool

Referring the Compute Resource Pool (Performance) 3.1.1.2

Following is the procedure for referring performance of the Compute Resource Pool.

1. Click [1] on the Manage Compute Resource Pool screen (Overview tab).

2. Manage Compute Resource Pool screen (Usage tab)

Click [2] to display the pulldown menu and the select the title of the graph to be displayed.

Select an item from "Memory Consumed", "vCPU Usage", "Compute Pool Disk Usage" and

"Compute Pool Disk Usage (%)".

Go to step 3 for checking "Memory Consumed".

Go to step 4 for checking "vCPU Usage".

Go to step 5 for checking "Compute Pool Disk Usage".

Go to step 6 for checking "Compute Pool Disk Usage (%)".

3. The following graph appears when "Memory Consumed" is selected from the title of pulldown menu.

Refer to the following table (information that can be referred with the graph of the memory consumption in Compute Resource Pool) for contents to be displayed for each item.

Click [3] to export data in the CSV format file.

* Information that can be referred in the graph of consumption of Compute Resource Pool memory.

4. The following graph appears when "vCPU Usage" is selected from the title of pulldown menu.

Refer to the following table (information that can be referred with the graph of vCPU usage in Compute Resource Pool) for contents to be displayed for each item.

Click [4] to export data in the CSV format file.

* Information that can be referred in the graph of vCPU usage of Compute Resource Pool memory.

5. The following graph appears when "Compute Pool Disk Usage" is selected from the title of pulldown menu.

Click [5] to export data in the CSV format file.

6. The following graph appears when "Compute Pool Disk Usage (%)" is selected from the title of pulldown menu.

Click [6] to export data in the CSV format file.

Referring the Compute Resource Pool (Virtual Server) 3.1.1.3

Following is the procedure for referring the virtual server that operates in which resources are allocated from the Compute Resource Pool.

1. Click [1] on the Manage Compute Resource Pool screen (Overview tab).

2. The list of virtual servers that are operating in which resources are allocated from the Compute Resource Pool on the Manage Compute Resource Pool screen (Virtual Server tab).

Refer to the following table (information that can be referred with the Virtual Server tab) for contents to be displayed for each item.

Click [2] to move to the management screen for each virtual sever and vApp to which the server belongs.

a IP address allocated to Primary vNIC in this virtual server b Identification name of this virtual server

c Number of vCPU allocated to this virtual server d Memory capacity allocated to this virtual server e Disk capacity allocated to this virtual server

3 The management screen for vApp and virtual server appears.

* The Manage Virtual Server screen (the area surrounded by the thick line) appears at the lower part of the screen and vApp screen appears at the upper portion of the screen (the area other than the area surrounded by the thick line).

Referring the Compute Resource Pool (Alerts) 3.1.1.4

Following is the procedure for referring the detected alerts.

1. Click [1] on the Manage Compute Resource Pool screen (Overview tab).

2. The Manage Compute Resource Pool screen (Alerts tab) appears.

Refer to the following table (information that can be referred with the Alerts tab) for contents to be displayed for each item.
