2014 CDD The City has issued an RFP for consultant assistance to prepare the Isabel/BART Priority Development Area Specific Plan and associated project EIR. Consultant interviews will take place the first week in October. The City was awarded a

$286,000 federal grant and will seek additional funding from MTC in November.

The contract is expected to be awarded in December if the procurement of funding from MTC is successful.

CDD Design of Phase I of the State Route 84 (SR-84) Widening Project was completed in June 2011. Construction commenced in June 2012 after right of way acquisition was completed and is scheduled for completion in November 2013.

Spring

2015 CDD City staff is working with ACTC on the design and right of way acquisition phases of Phase II of the SR-84 Widening Project which is scheduled for design to be completed in September 2014. Currently working on the design of the relocation and undergrounding of overhead transmission lines on SR-84 between Ruby Hill Drive and Concannon Blvd.

Construction is anticipated to start in spring 2015 and be completed by December 2016.

2014 CDD Funding pending approval of Measure B-1.

before November 8, 2012. Stoneridge partial connection (to El Charro only) expected to open in winter 2012 with completion of the bridge over Arroyo Las Positas and opening of the full Stoneridge extension expected in fall 2013.

6 Regional Transportation Funding and Programming

CDD Discussion ongoing with Tri-Valley Mayors/CMs regarding regional requests during January 2013 Mayors DC visit.

Presently, transportation items include I-580/I-680 interchange, SR 84 widening, Iron Horse Trail improvements and overcrossings, and I-680/Norris Canyon HOV ramps. Final decision on two to three items will occur sometime in

November/December in consultation with Pat Jordan & Associates.
