7.9 Replacing the counting bath assembly

2. The position of air filter is showed as following Figure;

Installation: Insert the new air filter to the tube, and close the right side door.

Verification:

1. Check if the parts are assembled properly or not;

2. Turn on the instrument to verify.

7.9 Replacing the counting bath assembly

7.9.1 Disassemble the shielding box assembly

Purpose: Shielding box is used to prevent interference during the counting process, it should be disassembled, while replacing the counting bath assembly, following is

Tool: 107 cross-headed screwdriver (107X75) Removal:

1. Empty the liquid system;

2. Power off the instrument and unplug the power cable.

3. Open the front panel assembly(as per section 7.2.1);

4. Adjust the position of sample probe, keep the probe is out of the via hole of the shielding box;

5. As following Figure shows. Use the 107 cross-headed screwdriver to remove the four M3×8 pan head screws fixing the shielding box, take out the shielding box;

 Please adjust the sample probe position, before disassemble the shielding box, make sure the sample probe is out of the shielding box to prevent the probe is bended or hurt the operator.

Installation: The installation procedures are the reverse order of step 1~5, please make sure not to press the liquid tube while cover the shielding box.

Verification:

1. Check if the parts are assembled properly or not;

2. Turn on the instrument to verify.

7.9.2 Replacing the whole counting bath assembly

Purpose: This part is used to count sample. In case of malfunction, please replace the assembly in time, following is the detail steps.

1. Empty the liquid system;

2. Power off the instrument and unplug the power cable.

3. Open the front panel assembly(as per section 7.2.1);

4. Open the right side panel(as per section 7.2.3);

5. Open the top panel(as per section 7.2.4);

6. Disassemble the shielding box(as per section 7.9.1);

7. Unplug the tubes and cable connectors on the counting bath;

8. As following Figure shows. Use the 107 cross-headed screwdriver to loose the four M3×6 pan head screws fixing the shielding box, but don’t remove them;

9. Lift the counting bath about 5mm manually, make the four screws located in the big hole, then take out the assembly.

Installation: The installation procedures are the reverse order of step 1~9, during installation, hang the assembly on the four screws via the gourd hole, tighten the screws.

Then connect and arrange tubes. Make sure it’ s the same with previous, and never make any tubes bended and pressed.

Verification:

1. Check if the parts are assembled properly or not;

2. Turn on the instrument to verify.

7.9.3 Replacing the WBC counting assembly WBC

Purpose: This part is used to mix the sample and let sample react. In case of malfunction, please replace the assembly in time, following is the detail steps.

Tool: 107 cross-headed screwdriver (107X75)

Servicing

1. Empty the liquid system;

2. Power off the instrument and unplug the power cable.

3. Open the front panel assembly(as per section 7.2.1);

4. Open the right side panel(as per section 7.2.3);

5. Open the top panel(as per section 7.2.4);

6. Disassemble the shielding box(as per section 7.9.1);

7. Unplug the tubes and cable connectors on the counting bath;

8. As following Figure shows. Use the 107 cross-headed screwdriver to remove the two M3×6 pan head screws fixing the counting bath, and remove the counting bath cover board;

9. Take out the WBC counting bath.

Verification:

2. Turn on the instrument to verify.

7.9.4 Replacing the HGB assembly

Purpose: HGB assembly is used to measure HGB. In case of malfunction, please replace the assembly in time, following is the detail steps.

Tool: 107 cross-headed screwdriver (107X75)

Servicing

1. Disassemble the WBC assembly(as per section 7.9.3);

2. Use the cross-headed screwdriver to remove the two M2X10 screws, disassemble the HGB assembly from counting bath.

Installation: The installation procedures are the reverse order of disassembly procedures.

2. Turn on the instrument to verify.

7.9.5 Replacing RBC counting bath assembly

Purpose: This part is used to mix the sample and let sample react. In case of malfunction, please replace the assembly in time, following is the detail steps.

Tool: 107 cross-headed screwdriver (107X75) Removal:

1. Empty the liquid system;

2. Power off the instrument and unplug the power cable.

3. Open the front panel assembly(as per section 7.2.1);

4. Open the right side panel(as per section 7.2.3);

5. Open the top panel(as per section 7.2.4);

6. Disassemble the shielding box(as per section 7.9.1);

7. Unplug the tubes and cable connectors on the counting bath;

8. As following Figure shows. Use the 107 cross-headed screwdriver to remove

the two M3×6 pan head screws fixing the counting bath, and remove the counting bath cover board;

9. Use cross-headed screwdriver to remove the ground cable, take out the WBC counting bath.

Installation: The installation procedures are the reverse order of step 1~9, during installation, pay attention to the direction of the counting bath, Make sure it’ s the same with previous, and never make any tubes bended and pressed.

7.9.6 Replacing the ruby aperture and rear bath

Purpose: This part is the flow path of the blood cell. In case of malfunction, please replace the assembly in time, following is the detail steps.

Tool: 107 cross-headed screwdriver (107X75) Removal:

1. Disassemble the WBC assembly, and disassemble the HGB assembly, refer to Section 7.8.4(If disassemble RBC aperture, please disassemble the RBC assembly, refer to Section 7.8.5);

2. Use the cross-headed screwdriver to remove the two M3X10 screws, disassemble the rear bath, ruby aperture and front bath.

Installation: The installation procedures are the reverse order of disassembly procedures. During installation, please pay attention to the direction of ruby aperture, the big hole should be face to front bath, it can not reverse.

Verification:

1. Check if the parts are assembled properly or not;

2. Turn on the instrument to verify.
