SCOPE OF WORK /BILL OF QUANTITIES

Kipevu Power Station is located about fifteen (15) kilometers West of Mombasa town along the Mombasa/Nairobi highway off Changamwe roundabout on the way to the port of Mombasa through Kipevu gate. The Changamwe roundabout Staff Quarters, Guest/Leave House and the Staff Clinic are situated on the way to the station next to the Changamwe roundabout.

9.4 Disposing, clearing and cleaning of oil spill over and rubbish in all the fuel tanks drainage systems.

and rubbish in all drainage systems.

9.6 Trimming, cutting grass and clearing the bushes along the perimeter fence six meters away from the fence on the outside occasionally and when required.

9.7 Cleaning and clearing any blocked sewage and drainage systems.

9.8 Maintenance of cleanliness and trimming of compound hedges throughout the year.

9.9 Removal and clearing of any stagnant water and oil within the station and the drainage.

9.10 All litters and garbage to be disposed at the Municipal Council‟s designated site.

9.11 Cutting grass, trimming of all the trees, cleaning and clearing of all the litter and dirt in all areas within the station.

9.12 Cleaning of all drains and removal of oil spills. 9.13 Replanting, providing, watering and maintaining of

plants, flowers and grass.

9.14 Applying and providing fertilizers, manure, soil and the required chemicals to all the flowers and plants. 9.15 Clearing and scooping away silt and sand on all the

roads and from the drainage.

9.16 Planting and providing of flowers and plants along the roads and within the compound.(The contractor should provide the flowers and plants)

9.17 Cleaning and sweeping at the parking lot and areas around the staff canteen.
