2) Impact Criteria
• Emerging social stratification/social classes in the study areas caused by the great amount of newcomers who generally posses better education level, better skills, and much greater income than the local residents.
• A great difference regarding the lifestyle of the newcomers compared to the native residents.
3) Environmental Management Objective
To prevent and/or eliminate new social classes in the community.
4) Environmental Management Effort
• Various facilities such as education, health care, sport and religious affairs are not exclusively given to the employees, but are also provided for the local residents.
• Facilitating various activities together with local residents, such as social
gatherings, comemorating religious/national events and other social and religious activities.

Villages surrounding project location in the region of Batui and Kintom District, Banggai Regency.

To prevent and/or decrease negative attitudes and perception from the community.
4) Environmental Management Effort Land acquisition and planting activity
• Giving transparent information to the community regarding the land acquisition process.
• Listing the land ownership rights of the land to be acquired.
• Deciding the land value in accordance to the agreement made with the land owners along with the payment process.
• Coordinating with related institutions: Team-9 from BPN.
• The detailed process is shown in figure 3.2.
Labor recruitment process
• Providing transparent information on job opportunities to members of the surrounding community, including the amount of employees, qualifications (education and skill) and the selection process.
• Acceptance of unskilled labors from the local community as a priority considering the company’s requirements.
• Skilled labors are selected in accordance to the required skill qualifications.
• The unskilled labor selection process will be performed in coordination with local legal institutions (KUD for example) and for the skilled labor involving regional and national labor recruitment institutions.

4) Environmental Management Effort
• Socializing every activity plan to the community.
• Overcome impacts of physical components: dust, gas emission (smoke), noise.
• Facilitating various social activities performed by local residents together with newcomers.

• No appropriate location to collect solid waste from construction activities.
3) Environmental Management Objective
To maintain good condition of environmental sanitation on land and sea surrounding the LNG refinery and Special Port.

• Providing containers for solid waste from construction activities.
• Providing containers for solid domestic waste.
• Providing appropriate sanitation facilities (MCK).
