Comodo Korugan features a proactive antispam engine 'SpamAssasin' that effectively intercepts spam mails entering the network. Though SpamAssasin is pre-configured to identify and block spam emails effectively by default, the administrator can enhance the filtering capacity by training the engine to adopt the spam filtering rules and techniques adopted by the mail servers of their corporate or personal email accounts. The antispam engine processes the mails in different folders of specified email accounts during training sessions and learns the spam filtering techniques. The training sessions can be scheduled to run at periodical intervals or can be started manually on demand.
The Spam Training interface allows the administrator to specify the mail servers and configure the training parameters for SpamAssasin.
To access the 'Spam Training' interface, click 'Services' > 'Spam Training' from the left hand side navigation.
The interface has two panes:
• Current spam training sources
• SpamAssasin Rule Update Schedule Current spam training sources
The upper 'Current spam training sources' panel allows the administrator to add/edit default training source mail server for spam training. To supplement the training the administrator can specify additional training sources. Both during scheduled automatic or manually started on demand training sessions, all the mails in the training source mail boxes will be processed for learning.
The additional sources are displayed as a list with their details in the 'Current spam training sources' panel.
