The goals of this project are to install outside motion detector lights, deadbolts, and a door sign so that evening group therapy participants can feel safer upon their approach to, and while in, the building. This project serves Horry and Georgetown Counties.

This project will allow for the counseling of sexual assault victims, presentations to the community regarding sexual assault, the creation of a support group for survivors, and memberships for the therapist to societies which will better enable them to assist their clients with up-to-date counseling strategies. This project serves Kershaw and Lee Counties.

This project allows for the purchase of a laptop computer so that shelter advocates may go into the field and provide community presentations and trainings for professionals, volunteers, and staff. This project serves Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton and Hampton counties.

The goal of this project is to purchase a vehicle to provide safe transportation for shelter residents. This project serves Marion, Chesterfield, Darlington, Marlboro, Dillon, Williamsburg and Florence counties.

Assessing Early Development of Abused/Neglected Children

This project seeks to assess children in emergency care for early childhood developmental delays due in part to abuse/neglect. The Center then develops curricula designed for abused and neglected children in the transient setting of the shelter. This project serves Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties.

This project will allow for purchase of a bus so the Victim Advocate at the Police Department may transport victims of crime. This project serves the City of Forest Acres.

This project will provide group treatment for victims of crime such as assault and battery, kidnapping and robbery. This project serves the City of Spartanburg.

The goal of this project is to provide a vehicle to be used to transport victims of crime. This project serves the City of Greer.

This project will allow for the purchase of a vehicle, computer, and other start-up equipment for the Victim Advocate at the Police Department. This project serves the City of Summerton.

This project seeks to close the language barrier with the growing Hispanic population in Abbeville, Greenwood, and Laurens Counties by providing an on-call interpreter who will assist sexual assault victims. This project serves Greenwood, Laurens and Abbeville counties.

The goal of this project is to provide training and education to 11 counties in the Lowcountry regarding victimization. Topics discussed will include child abuse and neglect, elder abuse, and domestic violence. This project serves Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Hampton, Horry, Jasper, Marion and Williamsburg counties.

The goal of this project is to develop a Community Resource Manual and Child Safety Plan Brochure to be distributed to the community. This project serves Orangeburg and Calhoun counties.
