We had the technical cum hr interview the next day. I had in the afternoon just after lunch. The panel was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

9. HOW CAN YOU PROTECT INHERITANCE IN C++. HR QUESTIONS……
O BE PREPARE WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS WHICH IS GIVEN BELOW…… INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hi friends, I m Pinaki Pani from NSEC, kolkata...After 19th feb I m a part of TCS...Now I share my xperience with u Our apti was on 14th feb...It consists 3 parts
1. Verbal : [32 qusns, 20 mins]
It consists of 10 synonyms, 10antonyms, 1passage & 1 paragraph completion...Synonyms & antonyms are tough, only 5 were common from previous papers...for antonyms u may prepare urself from barrons(12th edition) model test paper...[in verbal section after Qn no. 28] 2. Quants : [38 qusns, 40 mins]
This is the easiest part...this part is totally copied from previous papers...u got some
samples in any other page...solve 3 or 4 papers, u find that maximum r same...same things happen in apti also...just the values are changed...in this section time is a factor... 3. Critical Reasoning : [12 qusns, 30 mins]
Here 3 passages r given...each followed by 4 qusns...just solve(or mug up) barrons (12th edition) model test papers...the qusns no. r given in another page...19 passages are there...I got 2 common...
I m selected 4 the interview...it was on 16th feb...in my case the panel[consists 1 mam & 1 sir] was very friendly....the interview was tech+hr interview...it was hardly 20 mins
long....they asks some technical qsns from flip-flop, logic gates...then ask a c program(prime no.)....some fundamentals of c...after that some common hr qusns like ur first day in college... why tcs...why should i hire u ...why r u migrate from ece to it...
but all of my frnds r not so lucky...they asked from any subject u read in prev. years....even they asked from hs like charles law, boils law, pressure law...so if possible prepare this small
answers...there r some stress interview also...here u r asked from the subjects u never read [one of my friend(ece) asked from rdbms]...be cool on that case...dont b tensed on 19th we got the result...my name is in the selected candidates...
primarily u will b a little bit nervous...there is nothing to worry...dont b excited while interview...dont bluff, plz....
what i realized is that luck is a big factor...if u r lucky everything goes in favour...so pray to god that atleast for that day u r lucky...

Hi Friends It's Sudeep Dwivedi of MCA.Here i would like to share my experience of Written- techy-hr interview held in my institute on 13-14 Feb'08.
The written test consists of three sections-
1.VERBAL(10synonyms, 10antonyms,10sentence completion) Prepare GRE Barrons completely.
2.APTITUDE(40quizs from work,age,binary,distane,speed etc.) Solve old papers very well and follow Powerpreparation.
3.CRITICAL REASONING(12quizs)
Perplexing puzzles but keep patience u can succeed.I got 3 passages first was related with no.s and variables, second with red-brown-family relationships and last with data about
sale&distribution. My written was held on Feb'13 and techy-hr took place on Feb'14-valentine day.
Technical Interview about 3pm on feb'14
Panel was made up of two persons both were MCA.They asked: 1.Operating System
2.Computer Networks 3.Database Management 4.C
5.C++
They did not asked any quiz from my area of interest DataStructure.They were also willing to ask about Software Engineering and Java that i have not read.
H.R. Interview about 7pm on Feb'14
1.Tell me about yourself (it was asked in my techy also.) 2.Have u no gap
3.Why u passed XII(bio) after XII(math)
4.And in the last they told me to prepare to locate and about 50,000/- bond of 2yr duration. My Techy was good but i was not confirmed.When i got hr call and after appearing I became confirm about my selection.But i have to wait till 11:30pm in cold night to listen my name in the final list.The time was very boring and joyful because i got succeed.

Hi! I`m venus from Patiala ( Punjab ), doing Electronics n Comm. Engg .. a 3rd year student from Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engg & Tech., Tangori, Mohali... First of all I want to thank freshersworld.com for providing such a platform to find detailed versions of test papers n interview experiences dat one can actually (almost) predict what its all goin to be like..
The following is a preview of how it all worked out for me!! THE WRITTEN (ONLINE) TEST:
Ø No sectional cut off Ø No negative marking
Ø 3 sections : verbal (20 mins) , aptitude (40 mins) , critical (20 mins)
Ø If u don`t clear the apti, critical reasoning section doesn`t open.. so u NEED to clear this section for sure!!
Ø U can do to & fro in the same section.. but once the time is over 4 a particular section, u will not be able to even view the previous section`s questions.. so, my advice wud be that u should keep attempting the questions as they come (as there`s no –ve marking) & just keep noting down the guessed questions` numbers & if u get free time in the end, then come back to those & try to solve them..
Ø Don‘t forget to submit each question after attempting. Ø Each question appears one by one in apti section. VERBAL SECTION (20 mins)

Just do the exercises given at the back only..
Some ppl try to mug up d various comprehension passages of GRE barons.. but I cud solve it then n there..
just brush up on ur reading speed, n I guess it`ll be a cake walk.. APTITUDE SECTION (40 mins)
There wasn`t a SINGLE question that was not repeated.. (I wud recommend d paper posted by `anuj gupta` on dis site itself 4 referring 2 d various solved numericals dat r generally asked..) There r around 38 questions dat u have 2 do in 40 mins.. but trust me, if u`ve done d previous question papers, u`ll even have extra time left 4 reviewing n revising also..
Data interpretation question was asked too, but it as also easy..
CRITICAL REASONING (20 mins)
Only if u clear d aptitude section, will dis section open.. so, u`ll knw dat if u`ve been scoring ok enough, critical reasoning section will appear.. just do d ones given in barrons model test papers.. n u`ll have confidence.. though d names will be changed, so jus don`t mug it up..
though, in my case, there were 3 passages with 4 questions each & i`d done most of d barons critical stuff.. but only 1 passage came from barrons n rest 2, I had 2 solve then & there.. so, keep ur cool even if u get a completely new reasoning passage..)
