6.3.3 Error message handling in RF Wizard
Concerning the possibility of error message can be thrown in conversion exit, the RF Framework must catch that error message. This message catch will catch the messages from RF Wizard also. It means whenever an error occurs in RF Wizard, then Wizard quits and the RF Framework will display the error message.
It would be annoying if some effort spent before the error occurs. If you working with the RF Wizard on the desktop, then it would be comfortable to set Parameter ID
‘/SCWM/RF_WIZ_ACT’ on your own profile. How to set parameter ID:
Select System->User Profile->Own Data On tabstrip Parameter add a new entry: Parameter ID: /SCWM/RF_WIZ_ACT
With this Parameter ID the RF Wizard will not quit when an error message occurs, but display it inside the Wizard.
Usage of this Parameter ID can be relevant only in development or test system, but not in live system, because makes no sense to start RF Wizard in live system.
