Attention: The cabinet is equipped with a digital thermometer positioned inside the display area, usually close to the front glass. The displayed temperature corresponds to the temperature in the refrigerated cabinet; there-fore refer to this value for preserving the goods properly. The temperature displayed by the controller corre-sponds to the set point value. For technical reasons, the temperature values provided by the two displays (i.e. ther-mometer in the refrigerated cabinet and controller display), even if related to one another, could be different and vary during the cabinet’s operation. This fact is not an anomaly or a technical fault. To modify the working temperature, it is necessary to consider the temperature displayed by the digital thermometer inside the refrigerated cabinet, and then increase/decrease to the set point value memorized by the controller. Wait a few minutes after the modification of the parameter before checking the working temperature of the unit. If it is necessary, repeat the operation, until achieving the desired temperature.
9.4 User interface ___________________________________________________
Each key (1) has a two functions. Briefly press a key to activate the base function. Keep the key pressed for 4 sec-onds to activate the function relevant to the “4 secsec-onds” mode.

9.5 Set-Point (operating temperature) ______________________________
The electronic controller automatically manages the working temperature inside the refrigerated cabinet, accord-ing to the set value, as well as the defrost cycles.
How to display and modify the current set point
• Briefly push the key. The display will show the set temperature.
• The displaying status will be confirmed by the flashing symbol.
• Modify the set value by using and keys.
• To save and end the procedure, push the key or wait for 15 seconds.
9.6 Defrosting ______________________________________________________
The controller is programmed at the factory to perform a given number of automatic defrost cycles in 24 hours.
The duration of the defrost cycle can vary and it depends on the temperature detected by a specific sensor placed inside the evaporator (i.e. the defrost sensor). This sensor determines the end of the defrost, unless the maximum preset time is reached (time-out).
Manual defrosting
If it is necessary to activate a manual defrosting cycle, push the indicated key for more than 2 seconds. The defrost cycle will take place automatically according to the criteria mentioned above (once the end defrost temperature detect-ed by the defrost sensor is reachdetect-ed or time-out is reachdetect-ed).
• To activate a manual defrosting cycle, push the key for more than 4 seconds.
• Led On: defrosting cycle has been activated.
• flashing: defrosting cycle waiting for activation due to a delay function activated. Wait a few minutes.
9.7 Lights, switching on/off ___________________________________________
Press the AUX key briefly. The controller will make the LED lighting switch on (if the unit fits lightning). The “Switch-On status” is confirmed by the “AUX” symbol on the display and memorized by the controller. This status remains set and activated even if the refrigerated cabinet is unintentionally switched off or a temporary blackout occurs. In that case, once power supply has been restored after the blackout, the lighting system will automatically go back on again.

9.8 Alarm warnings _________________________________________________
In case of an anomaly, the microprocessor activates an alarm and the display shows the corresponding warning code that identifies the cause. The symbol illuminates on the display to indicate an alarm condition.
Warnings “PR1” - “PR2” - “PR3” These warnings indicate a possible failure of the temperature probes installed in-side the refrigerated cabinet.
Call Technical Support and have the technicians check the probe connections and replace them if it is necessary. If the probe is broken, the refrigerated cabinet might not be able to maintain the proper temperature suitable for preserv-ing the displayed products. Check the temperature with the digital thermometer in the refrigerated cabinet. Remove the products and store them in an suitable refrigerated place (i.e. cold-rooms, another refrigerated cabinet) if it is nec-essary.
Warning“AH”
This warning indicates high temperature for preserving the displayed products. Check the temperature with the digital thermometer (it is inside the refrigerated cabinet) and the loading conditions of the displayed products (refer to Chap-ter 6 “Loading and using the cabinet). Remove the products and store them in an suitable refrigerated place (i.e. cold-rooms, another refrigerated cabinet) if it is necessary.
Warning “COH” or “CSd”
The refrigerated cabinet can be equipped with an additional temperature probe for measuring the condensation tem-perature. These alarms indicate a reduced efficiency of the unit that is usually caused by the accumulation of dirt on the front surface of the condenser. Clean the condenser as described in chapter 7 “User’s maintenance”. If the er-ror continues call for the Technical Support.
A dirty condenser causes higher energy consumption and stresses the compressor resulting in a decrease of duration of the compressor.

9.9 Programming the controller
Attention! This section of the manual is meant for maintenance technicians only.
Access to the programming menus and the modification of the parameters are exclusively reserved to installation and maintenance personnel. Incorrect or improper modifications of the parameters can cause malfunctions and/or poor performances of the unit.
Displaying and setting the parameters
The parameter displaying mode is activated by the “4 seconds” function of key. To enter this mode, you need a password which is set at the factory (password: -19). Push the key for 4 seconds and the message
“PA” will be shown on the display. Push the key again and enter the password by using the and
keys.
To confirm the password, push the key or wait for 15 seconds without pressing any keys. Now the first pa-rameter of the list (SP) will be displayed and the led will start flashing to confirm the access to the setting param-eter mode.
Choose the parameter to modify by using and keys.
Visualize the current value of the parameter by pushing the key.
Set the parameter value by using the and keys.
To save the new value, push the key or wait for 15 seconds without pressing any keys.
To exit the procedure without saving the new value, push the key.
