Vorbemerkung

Das « Allgemeine Statistische Bulletin » soll monatlich die neuesten

Zahlen der kurzfristigen wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung in den

Län-dern der EWG liefern und damit der Konjunkturbeobachtung dienen.

Es besteht aus einem jeweils wechselnden Teil, dem «Statistischen

Sonderbericht », in dem aktuelle Themen behandelt werden, und aus

dem gleichbleibenden Teil der « Statistischen Montaszahlen », der

für 131 konjunktur-erhebliche Indikatoren die letzten verfügbaren

Angaben enthält. So weit wie möglich werden hier Vergleichsreihen

für das Vereinigte Königreich, die USA und die Sowjetunion

heran-gezogen.

In den Monatszahlen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland ist — falls

nichts anderes vermerkt — das Saarland enthalten. West-Berlin ist

— vorbehaltlich anders lautender Hinweise — in den deutschen

Monatsreihen Nr. 1-9, 17 und 18, 46 - 53, 62, 68 - 72 nicht erfaßt.

Er wird besonders darauf aufmerksam gemacht, daß einige Zahlen

für die jeweils letzten Berichtszeiträume nur vorläufige Werte

darstellen und daher oft Änderungen in späteren Ausgaben

unter-worfen sind.

Le «Bulletin général de Statistiques» a pour but de fournir

men-suellement les chiffres disponibles les plus récents concernant

l'évolution économique à court terme dans les Pays de la CEE et

de servir ainsi à l'observation conjoncturelle.

Il comporte une partie variable, la « Note statistique », dans

la-quelle sont traités un ou plusieurs sujets d'actualité et une partie

permanente consacrée à 131 indicateurs concernant la

conjonc-ture. Pour le Royaume-Uni, les États-Unis et l'URSS, des séries

analogues ont été introduites chaque fois que cela était possible.

Sauf indication contraire les chiffres mensuels de l'Allemagne

Fédé-rale comprennent la Sarre; Berlin-Ouest n'est pas compris dans les

séries mensuelles allemandes noa 1 à 9, 17 et 18, 46 à 53, 62,

68 à 72.

L'attention du lecteur est attirée sur le fait qu'une partie des

don-nées des dernières périodes est provisoire et donc susceptible

de modifications dans les éditions ultérieures.

più recenti relativi all'evoluzione economica a breve termine nei

Paesi della CEE con lo scopo di favorire l'osservazione

congiun-turale.

Si compone di una parte variabile, la « Nota statistica », nella quale

vengono trattati uno o più argomenti d'attualità, e di una parte

fissa, contenente gli ultimi dati disponibili per 131 indicatori

con-cernenti la congiuntura. Per il Regno Unito, gli Stati Uniti e

l'URSS si sono introdotte serie analoghe ogni qualvolta sia stato

possibile.

Salvo indicazione contraria i dati mensili della Germania federale

comprendono la Saar. Berlino-Ovest è escluso dalle serie mensili

tedesche nn. da 1 a 9, 17 e 18, 46 a 53, 62, e da 68 a 72.

Si segnala al lettore che i dati degli ultimi periodi sono in parte

provvisori e quindi suscettibili di modifiche nelle successive

edi-zioni.

Het « Algemeen Statistisch Bulletin » bevat de meest recente

maand-cijfers over de economische ontwikkeling op korte termijn in de

landen van de EEG en is derhalve bedoeld als bijdrage tot de

conjunctuurwaarneming.

In het van inhoud wisselende gedeelte : het « Bijzonder Statistisch

Overzicht » worden één of meer actuele onderwerpen behandeld.

Het overige gedeelte van het Bulletin, de « Statistische

Maandreek-sen», bestaat uit vaste rubrieken met de jongste maandcijfers over

131 conjunctuur-indicatoren. In dit gedeelte zijn tevens, indien en

voorzover mogelijk, analoge cijferreeksen opgenomen over de

ont-wikkeling in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, de Verenigde Staten en de

Sowjet-Unie.

In de maandcijfers van de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland is — indien

niet anders aangegeven — Saarland begrepen. West-Berlijn, is —

onder voorbehoud van andersluidende verwijzingen — niet

opge-nomen in de Duitse maandreeksen nr s 1-9, 17 en 18, 46-53, 62

en 68-72.

De lezer zij er op gewezen, dat een deel der gegevens over de

jongste perioden een voorlopig karakter dragen en derhalve in

latere afleveringen gewijzigd kunnen voorkomen.

Foreword

The « General Statistical Bulletin » gives a monthly survey of the

up-to-date figures for short-term economic developments in the

EEC countries and is intended to assist in the observation of

eco-nomic trends.

The Bulletin is divided into two parts, one of which, the «Special

Statistical Note», is variable and deals with one or more subjects

of topical interest, whereas the other, the «Monthly Statistical

Figures», contains the latest available data for a fixed group of

131 indicators of importance in economic trends. Wherever

possi-ole, comparisons are made with the United Kingdom, the United

States and the Soviet Union.

STATISTISCHER SONDERBERICHT

Die Entwicklung der Bevölkerung in den Ländern der Gemeinschaft von 1950 bis 1965

Das SAEG veröffentlicht nachstehend einige Grunddaten zur

Be-völkerungsentwicklung in den Ländern der Gemeinschaft von 1950

bis 1965. Es handelt sich dabei um die Gesamtbevölkerung, ihre Struktur

nach Alter und Geschlecht und die Eheschliessungs-, Geburten-,

Sterblichkeits- und Kindersterblichkeitsziffern. Dazu kommen einige

Angaben über Entwicklung und Struktur der Erwerbstätigkeit sowie

eine Tabelle mit den Hauptmerkmalen der mutmaßlichen Situation

in den Jahren 1970, 1975 und 1980. Ein kurzes Literaturverzeichnis

ergänzt diese Aufzeichnung.

Der Leser wird bei näherer Beschäftigung mit den Tabellen

fest-stellen, daß zahlreiche Angaben von der Organisation für

wirtschaft-liche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (OECD) stammen, die auf

dem Gebiet der internationalen Harmonisierung der

Bevölkerungs-und Erwerbstätigkeitsstatistiken wertvolle Arbeit geleistet hat.

Eine periodische, wahrscheinlich jährliche Überarbeitung dieser

Aufzeichnung ist vorgesehen. Das SAEG ist für kritische Kommentare

oder Vorschläge für eine etwaige Verbesserung von Darbietung und

Inhalt dankbar.

L'évolution démographique dans les pays de la Communauté de 1950 à 1965

L'OSCE publie ci-dessous quelques données de base relatives à

l'évolution démographique dans les pays de la Communauté de 1950

à 1965. Il s'agit de l'effectif total de la population, de sa structure par

âge et sexe et des taux habituels de nuptialité, natalité, mortalité et

mortalité infantile. On y a joint quelques indications sur l'évolution et

la structure de l'emploi ainsi qu'un tableau indiquant les principales

caractéristiques de ce que pourrait être la situation en 1970, 1975 et

1980 dans l'hypothèse la plus probable. Une courte bibliographie

complète cette note.

Le lecteur constatera, en consultant les tableaux, que l'Organisation

de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE) est à la

source de nombreux résultats; cela tient à l'important travail accompli

par cette Organisation dans le domaine de l'harmonisation

internatio-nale des statistiques de population et d'emploi.

Une mise à jour périodique, probablement annuelle, de la présente

note est envisagée. L'OSCE sera très heureux de recevoir tous

commen-taires, critiques ou suggestions qui permettraient d'en améliorer la

présentation ou le contenu.

L'ISCE presenta in questa nota alcuni dati di base sull'evoluzione

demografica nei paesi della Comunità per il periodo 1950-1965. Essi

concernono l'effettivo totale della popolazione, la sua struttura per

età e sesso nonché i tassi di nuzialità, natalità, mortalità, mortalità

infantile. Seguono alcune indicazioni sull'evoluzione e la struttura

del-l'occupazione ed una tabella con le principali caratteristiche della

situazione da prevedersi nell'ipotesi più probabile per gli anni 1970,

1975 e 1980. La nota è completata da una breve bibliografica.

Dall'esame delle tabelle il lettore osserverà che fonte di numerosi

risultati è l'Organizzazione per la cooperazione e lo sviluppo

econo-mico (OECD); ad essa si devono infatti importanti lavori nel campo

dell'armonizzazione internazionale delle statistiche della popolazione e

dell'occupazione.

È previsto un aggiornamento periodico, probabilmente annuale,

della presente nota. L'ISCE sarà grata per qualsiasi osservazione o

consiglio che permetta di migliorarne la presentazione o il contenuto.

BIJZONDER STATISTISCH OVERZICHT

De ontwikkeling van de bevolking in de landen van de Gemeenschap van 1950 t/m 1965

Het BSEG publiceert in deze nota enige basisgegevens met

betrek-king tot de bevolbetrek-kingsontwikkeling in de landen van de Gemeenschap

in de periode van 1950 t/m 1965. De gegevens hebben betrekking op het

totale aantal van de bevolking, de bevolkingsstructuur volgens

leef-tijd en geslacht en de gebruikelijke huwelijkscijfers, geboortecijfers,

sterftecijfers en kindersterftecijfers. Hieraan toegevoegd zijn enige

gegevens betreffende de ontwikkeling en de structuur van de

werk-gelegenheid, alsmede een tabel met de voornaamste kenmerken van de

vermoedelijke situatie in 1970, 1975 en 1980 bij de meest

waarschijn-lijke hypothese. Deze nota wordt aangevuld met een korte bibliografie.

De lezer zal bij het raadplegen van de tabellen constateren, dat voor

talrijke resultaten de Organisatie voor Economische Samenwerking en

Ontwikkeling (OESO) als bron wordt vermeld; dit is te danken aan het

belangrijke werk dat deze organisatie reeds op het gebied van de

inter-nationale harmonisatie van de bevolkings- en de

werkgelegenheids-statistieken heeft verricht.

Het BSEG overweegt deze nota periodiek, waarschijnlijk ieder jaar,

bij de werken en zou het derhalve zeer op prijs stellen opmerkingen

of suggesties te ontvangen, waardoor het mogelijk zou zijn de vorm of

de inhoud hiervan te verbeteren.

SPECIAL STATISTICAL NOTE

Demographic trends in Community countries 1950

The Statistical Office of the European Communities publishes below

certain basic data on demographic trends in the Community countries

from 1950 to 1965. There are figures for the total population and its

structure by age and sex, and the usual tables showing marriage, birth,

death and infant mortality rates. Some indication is als ogiven of the

trend· and structure of employment, as well as a table showing what

the main features of the situation are most likely to be in 1970, 1975

and 1980. A short bibliography is appended.

1965

The reader will see from the tables that the Organization for Economic

Co-operation and Development (OECD) is the source of many of

the figures; this is because of the important work that has been done

by that Organization to harmonize statistics on population and

em-ployment at the international level.
