Anything as a Service (XaaS)
Interworks Cloud Platform is built on .Net framework using MS SQL Server for data storage. Platform’s APIs are exposed through SOAP Web Services, therefore, APIs can be used by a variety of software platforms and can be called from every programming language that supports SOAP web-service protocol. This approach ensures that service providers and system integrators have the option to integrate with any other solution or service regardless of the underlined technology.
Architecture
Cloud Platform can be easily integrated with third-party systems (e.g. billing systems, system management applications), due to a SOAP Web Services based API. For services onboarding, the Service Management API can be used.
• Cloud Platform API. Using our API, data can be exported to or imported from Cloud Platform and other third-party applications. The core implementation is based on primitive data types and pure XML documents.
• Data exchange through SFTP. Cloud Platform produces CDR files with customer charges that can be uploaded in an SFTP for consumption of a third party billing system. The platform’s invoicing engine applies your

Many popular applications from global ISV’s have already been integrated with Interworks Cloud Platform but if there is a need to extend the supported applications portfolio, Service Management API comes into play. The Cloud Platform Service Management API gives service providers and third-party independent software vendors (ISVs) the ability to rapidly onboard new services into Interworks Cloud Platform. The API has the ability to integrate applications that are physically hosted at the service provider, hosted at a 3rd party provider, or hosted “in the cloud”.
