EonNAS Family of Unified Storage Systems
IT environments often feature multiple types of storage infrastructures to accommodate various types of data and achieve different service levels. The scattered boxes for DAS
(Direct-Attached Storage), SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network-Attached Storage) configurations lead to poor utilization and complicated management.
Infortrend EonNAS simultaneously serves file and block-based applications with a unified storage platform, and features easy management, optimized resource utilization, high

Now the centralized functionality offered by EonOne can work magic on your EonNAS device. Just go to the Workflow page, and select any workflow you want (such as Backup > Create
Pool Mirror Schedule or Other > Add New User), and you can find your device available for
centralized management by choosing it from the Device drop-down menu. Imagine including more devices into a workflow. Routine tasks (such as creating user accounts or setting up data services) that could only be completed by repeating them over and over again on multiple devices can now be carried out in a single workflow.
Note: For EonNAS devices with redundant controllers, only the primary controller can be added to the Device List and managed by EonOne.

Conclusion
As you can see from this application note, EonOne is a convenient yet powerful tool,
providing you with the capability of centralizing the management all your EonNAS devices in one interface.
As we keep on completing EonOne's functionality, you will be able to use it to fully manage multiple devices in the near future, which really saves you the trouble of going through individual interfaces of all devices for repetitive tasks.
Note: Currently only EonNAS 3000R/S is supported by EonOne, while EonNAS 3012T and EonNAS 1000 series will be supported in Q1 2015.
