Student Code Discussion notes: Agreed plan of action with student:
Samantha A Reading long book and not ready to quiz Will read a non-fiction book by the end of the week to quiz on and continue to read her fiction
book after.
Lauren D Reading books below her ZPD. Discussed the importance. She was worried she would fail the quiz if she took
a longer book because she struggles to remember details.
Her book has been swapped. We have discussed how she can make a mind map to help
her in her quiz and add to it at the end of each chapter.
Sarah F Sarah took a quiz on the Hunger Games after only seeing the film. We discussed how she cannot pass the quizzes this
way.
Sarah has agreed to take the second book in the series and quiz on it before the next film comes
out.
Natalie D% Natalie has been reading a long book above the top end of her ZPD score
She is going to try another book found on AR Bookfinder and build up to that book later in the
year.
