Description

This programme provides the foundation competencies in the operation of a process plant. The emphasis of this programme is on the safety, operations and communication in a process plant and aims to equip trainee with the confidence, knowledge and skills to safely and competently operate basic process plant equipment units, control devices and facilities of a process plant.

Description

This programme provides training specific to technical aspects of processes in a typical process plant such as operation of compressors, re-boilers and distributed control system with increased emphasis on safe operation. The programme aims to equip trainee with the confidence, knowledge and skills to safely and competently operate basic process plant equipment units, control devices and facilities of a process plant.

Description

This programme aims to provide trainees with supervisory skills in the coordination of safe operations and processes in process plants. The competencies covered under this programme include supervising team and WSH practices at work, coordinating plant de-commissioning and shutdown, leading ER teams and scheduling plant for maintenance. At the end of the programme, trainee should have improved confidence, knowledge and skills to safely and competently carry out specific technical processes, equipments, control devices and facilities of a process plant.

Description

Graduate Training Scheme (GTS) is a 12-month programme place and train programme supported by Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), in partnership with Petrofac Training Institute. This programme encompasses 6 months of WSQ training in Chemical Process Technology Centre (CPTC) and 6 months of industry attachment in the hiring company.

This programme aims to provide professional development for Diploma and NITEC graduates to enter a specialized field, within the chemicals industry.
