Currently, Winegardner & Hammons Hotel

Group, LLC (WHG) owns/manages 17

hotels throughout the United States. WHG

has developed 13 Marriott full-service

hotels and one Embassy Suites within the

past 18 years and opened an adaptive

re-use project, the Residence Inn Cincinnati

Downtown.

Human Resources

The associates at our hotels are our most important assets and we strive to select the

most talented and qualified individuals. WHG promotes accelerated growth and

provides opportunity for associates to make a positive impact.

Utilizing our proprietary selection tool developed by the Gallup Organization, we

selectively recruit the most talented General Managers and associates available. Our

Gallup selection tool ensures we match the talents and strengths of associates to the

right job. Simply put, we place "a round peg in a round hole" in both

customer-facing and non-customer-customer-facing positions.

The Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, LLC Sales and Marketing team is a clear

point of difference.

WHG's innovative Business Development department provides competitive intelligence

and highly qualified leads that direct our sales teams to targeted customer segments.

A unique commissioned sales force is led by the General Manager as the Director of

Sales, creating accountability and a strong focus on results. All hotels have the benefit of

a dedicated eCommerce manager, ensuring leadership and best practices in website

content, search, email, mobile, third-party distribution, reputation management and

social media. In addition, WHG’s Consolidated Revenue Management team provides

consistent, unbiased oversight of hotel pricing strategy, allowing hotels to be nimble in

responding to changes in market conditions.

Finance Services

Ensuring hotels are operating at their most cost effective and profitable, WHG’s Financial

Services Division collects, interprets and consolidates financial information with a staff of

experienced CPAs, strong internal controls, a state-of-the-art AS/400 system, and an

integrated PC network.

With centralized accounting services and uniform procedures, we improve cash flow and

timely reporting for each ownership group, as well as help our corporate office management

closely monitor each property's operations.

Associates' compensation, insurance benefits and retirement options are regularly monitored

to ensure they are competitive, attractive and affordable for our hotel owners. Financial

planning, risk management and property tax evaluation are also included in our

management fees.

Construction and Product Management

WHG's Construction and Project Management team is responsible for satisfying the

needs of our customers by providing quality hotel products. This division covers

various disciplines including our unique METS (Maintenance, Energy,

Telecommunications, and Safety) program.

WHG makes the most of available resources, implements sustainability, and works to

decrease expenditures and increase profits through asset preservation.

Our Life/Safety Department maintains compliance with industry and brand standards,

educates our hotels in maintaining our life safety systems, and conducts our associate

and guest safety programs.

The Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, LLC construction and design services

are available to our ownership groups for an additional fee.

J. Erik Kamfjord

Chairman Emeritus

Under the leadership of J. Erik Kamfjord, Winegardner & Hammons, Hotel Group, LLC has become one of the top-ranked independent hotel management companies in the nation. Erik developed the business plan that helped fuel WHG’s growth from managing a single hotel brand to managing a diverse portfolio of hotel brands. Erik's background has served him well in his leadership role.

A native of Oslo, Norway, he moved to New Jersey as a teenager. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia while on a football scholarship. After undergraduate school, Erik served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an officer. Following three years of service, he enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Upon graduation in 1967, he joined WHIG as an Assistant General Manager and subsequently was promoted to General Manager, District Director of the Greater Cincinnati area and Senior Vice President of Operations in 1969, before becoming President in 1978. In 2000, he became Chairman and CEO. In 2015, he became Chairman Emeritus.

G. Michael Conway

Chief Executive Officer

Under the leadership of Mike Conway, Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, LLC has developed

comprehensive sales and marketing strategies which have maximized WHIG hotels' market share, revenues and profits. The importance WHIG has placed on sales and marketing will continue to accelerate as the marketplace becomes even more diverse and competitive.

Mike is a 1976 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with concentrations in marketing and management. Mike has served the company in various positions such as General Manager, Regional Sales Director, District Director of Operations and Vice President-Marketing. In 2000, Mike was promoted to Senior Vice President-Marketing.

Mike has been part of the company’s development team for over 10 years and in 2013 assumed the

responsibility of leading the effort. Mike was promoted to President of Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, LLC. in December 2013. In 2015 he became CEO.

Kent Bruggeman

Chief Financial Officer

Kent is an Ohio native, a 1980 graduate of The Ohio State University, and has been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years.

Kent joined WHG in 1990 as an Assistant General Manager in Ohio and then served as General Manager in Nevada, Maryland and Ohio. While General Manager of the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast he was named General Manager of the year for Marriott in 1999 and the hotel received the Marriott Hotel of the Year award in 1999. The hotel also achieved the number one ranking in the world from Marriott International for "Overall Job Satisfaction" on the Associate Opinion Survey.

Kent held the position of Regional Vice President prior to his promotion to Senior Vice President Human Resources in October 2001. In April 2004, Kent was promoted to Senior Vice President-Operations and Human Resources. Kent was promoted to Executive Vice President in December 2013 and most recently CFO in 2015.

Terry D. Dammeyer

Chief Construction &

Development Officer

Under Terry Dammeyer's leadership, WHG has an established reputation as an industry leader in product quality. Terry is responsible for architectural and interior design, new construction and

renovation/capital expenditures. He is also responsible for the technical programs required for efficient hotel operations in the areas of maintenance, energy management, purchasing, telephone systems and life safety.

Terry grew up in Ohio and received a bachelor's degree in 1983 in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a master's in business administration from Xavier University in 1986.

In 1984, Terry joined WHG as a project manager. He was soon promoted to Director of Purchasing, Vice President of Product Management, then promoted on to Senior Vice President of Construction in 1994. In 2015 Terry was named Chief Construction & Development Officer.

Brian Perkins

Chief Operations Officer

Brian Perkins is responsible for overall hotel operations in addition to growing and developing an industry best management team. A native of Massachusetts, Brian's career began in the restaurant industry prior to graduating with a Hospitality Degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1992.

Brian joined Winegardner & Hammons, Hotel Group in 1992 as an Assistant General Manager and worked in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Wyoming, and Boston. Brian then served as General Manager of several different branded hotels including Holiday Inn, Embassy Suites, and Marriott Hotels across the country. While General Manager of the Cincinnati Marriott North he was named Marriott International’s Sales Leader of the Year, as well as earning the Marriott Leadership Excellence Award and Food & Beverage Excellence Awards.

Brian has served on many community and industry organizations including the Marriott International Food and Beverage Advisory Committee and the Rooms Advisory Committee.

In 2006 Brian was promoted to Vice President of Food and Beverage, and in 2008 to Vice President Operations. Most Recently, Brian was promoted to Senior Vice President Operations in February 2015 and most recently named COO in September, 2015.
