Oversee the efforts of the undergraduate sport management program. Teach undergraduate courses in the department of Sport Management. Advise approximately 30 majors regarding course selection and career options; have supervised sport management internships; engage in departmental, college, and university service; conduct scholarship. Developed curriculum for an undergraduate sport analytics degree as well as minors within sport analytics, sport

marketing, and event management in 2015.

Undergraduate Sport Administration Program Coordinator August 2002 – July 2006 Established and coordinated on campus practicum and off campus internship sites. Served as an academic advisor for 300 students within the major. Taught undergraduate courses in the program Served as the faculty advisor to the Sport Administration Club. Developed,

implemented, and enforced admission policies to the major. Worked directly with outside sport organizations to provide students with practicum and internship experience.

Instructor January 2002 - August 2002

School of Physical Education instructor. Taught nine physical education classes as well as a sport management seminar course. Served as the assistant to the advisor for the undergraduate sport administration club. Coordinated efforts for various club events, including the sport administration majors’ awards dinner. Chaperoned the sport administration club’s educational trip to Chicago.

Assistant Director of Sport Administration June 2001 - January 2002

Responsible for the preparation, on-site management, and follow up procedures of 20 Olympic sport championship events as well as the administration of seven regular-season sport

programs. Orchestrated the planning and coordination of championships in concert with the host institution or venue. Championship event responsibilities included: operational details, personnel hiring, contracting and evaluating officials, policy enforcement, budget proposals, and finalized reports. Assistant for the development of conference schedules for regular season Olympic sports. Provided interpretation oversight and enforcement of the conference sport policies and procedures. Coordinated the student athlete scholarship awards program, serving as the contact for the award winners and facilitating payment of money.

Asa Bushnell Intern August 2000-June 2001

Responsible for the media relations for the ECAC Men’s Division I Ice Hockey conference. Put together a media guide, press releases, weekly statistics, as well as television game notes for the season. Orchestrated the planning and coordination of championships for fall, winter and spring sports. Event responsibilities included: operational details, team selection, team travel, banquets, policies, NCAA regulation, host school communication, and reports. Organized two swimming diving championship events in which I was the sole organizer. Completed NCAA reports where applicable.
