Signing into your eVisit account
Sign in to eVisit on your computer or tablet by opening a web browser. 1. Go to the eVisit link provided by your Systems Administrator to sign in.
2. Type your username and password, and then select sign in.
Tip: The first time you sign in, you'll use the work account and temporary password that you received from your Systems Administrator.
3. If this is your first time signing in, you're asked to change your password. Type a new password, and then select Save.
Tip: After you sign in for the first time, you can go to the link provided to by your system admin and sign in anytime using new password. For quick access, you might want to add the sign-in page to your favorites.
4. To sign out of eVisit, locate the buttons in the upper right corner and select Logout.
Resetting your password
1. If for any reason you lose or forget your password, you can reset it. Using the
“Forgot Password?” button.
2. Once you submit your work email address a “Password Reset Link” will be sent
to your email.

eVisit Dashboard
Logging into eVisit will take you to the dashboard. On the dashboard
(homepage) you will find your menu located on the far-left hand side where you can access your Dashboard, Analytics, Walk-In, Visits, Requests Reports, Settings and Audit Trail pages.
Quick Reports (Overview)
1. The modules on the dashboard give overviews to data stored in eVisit. You can fetch information using the search tool above the modules and
calendar.
2. You can search for information regarding visitation in any range of time. Even custom ranges can be set using the search tool.

3. You can also update your password and view your personal information by selecting the profile picture above the menu on the far left of the dashboard.
Understanding the Analytics
1. eVisits in-depth analytics are accessible from your menu on the far left. You will see statistics based on the visitation patterns in your building.
2. Users who receive the most visits will appear towards the bottom of the analytics page on the right-hand side. You can also fetch data for a specific time period.

Walk-Ins
When a visitor is welcomed to your building, they can provide a an existing 7-Digit
Code or register for a “Walk-in Visit”.
Searching for a visit
Every visitor has a seven-digit code. The final two digits are not accessible via the platform to provide an added layer of security. Only the person who was mailed or texted the 7-Digit code will be able to access your building.
Registering a walk-in visit
1. When a visitor arrives without an eVisit code, one can be generated for them by submitting a walk-in visit form. Simply click “Register a walk-in visit”, beside “Search for a visit” and the form will appear.

2. After inputting the visitor’sinformation, click “submit details”. You will receive
a confirmation and the visit can begin.

Within the Visits page you will find entries for all visits registered in your organization.

On your visit timeline you will find details about the selected visit.
Requesting a Visit
1. To request for a visit, select the purple “Request for a visit” button on the top
right-hand corner. The button will lead you to the eVisit calendar.
2. You can select a date to schedule a visit for that day or drag and drop an existing visit to reschedule it to another day using the dynamic calendar.

After clicking on the date for the visit, fill out the details of the visit and click “create visit” to confirm the entry.
Requests
The Chief Security Officer (CSO), Receptionist, or Administrator can approve and initiate visits from the requests page.
Approving Requests
The visitor will disclose their final two digits of their seven-digit code which was sent to them as an email or text when their visit was first scheduled. These final two numbers are not visible on the eVisit platform and add an extra layer of security for your building. eVisit makes use of your computer or tablet camera to capture the visitors face (optional) and QR code printed on their visitor’s pass.
Generating Reports
you can generate custom reports on visits logged within the eVisit platform based on the Time (Date), Status, Purpose, and Visit type for a single staff member or all staff. The available export formats are Text Copy, Excel, CSV, and PDF.
Changing your Settings
Edit or Create Users
1. You can create, update and deactivate user profiles from the Users page.

2. Both creating a user and updating a user’s information happen on the same form. When all the fields have been correctly filled click the blue button
reading “create this user” or “update user details” to save the information.
System Settings
1. Within the system settings roles can be created using the purple “create this role” button. You can also change the roles for existing users using the purple “Edit” Button.
2. You can edit the privileges available to a batch of users assigned to any role using the second tab on system settings page. Click Submit to confirm your updates.

3. On the third tab in system settings you can create new rooms or edit the names of existing rooms.
4. General, the final tab in systems settings allows you to apply automatic approval for visits, change rules related to pre-scheduled visits and alter the naming convention for your organizations 7-Digit code.
Audit Trail
The audit trail page produces an in-depth companywide report of actions taken on the eVisit dashboard.
Exporting from the Audit Trail
Exports from the Audit trail are the same as exports in Reports available in Text Copy, Excel, CSV, and PDF formats.
Alerts
Your Systems Administrator will define several emergency response protocols that are appropriate for your company and your building. Alerts can be raised from within the platform triggering the feedback from the necessary response units. Alert is fixed in the top right corner next to logout.
