Banner dimensions and file limitations
Mobads accepts GIF, PNG and/or JPEG images.

*Some of our best converting sites are now using Leaderboard and Rectangle ads exclusively. If you do not include them then you will miss out on
exposure on these sites thus reducing your ROI. In addition because of their size and sharpness of image they generate as much as double the CTR so you should generate a lot more of this profitable
traffic.

Call to action
Call to Action (CTA) is the way to prompt users to click on the banner ad and should be kept as short as
possible. CTA messages should be concise and the action to be taken should be clear. CTAs are usually
shown in text or buttons. If using a button, ensure that the button matches the branding guidelines for your campaign or is on compliance with our network
specifications.

If you are running for an extended period of time make sure your banners are reviewed and updated
accordingly to keep your CTR high.

correctly. A lack of conversions could be due to a

Combo Ads
A combo ad is a combination of an image (or banner) and a small text beneath the image. As a user scrolls through a mobile page he will land on both the banner and the text ad elements of the combo. In addition
some phones do not highlight a banner very well when a user has landed on it so having the text ad
underneath means the user can easily click on the ad. Also the text ad can get the message or call to action across to the user. This means the banner does not have to contain as much text so more space can be
devoted to the image. This means the combo can have much higher impact and CTR as a eye-catching image is the most important factor in any mobile ad. Combo ads tend to have at least a 30% higher CTR than
standard banners.
Combo ad Image Spec: same as Banner Combo ad Text Spec: 25 characters

Limit one offer per ad
Don’t confuse the user by offering them more than one thing in an ad. It is more attractive to the user if there is less wording on one ad. We suggest running more than one campaign if you have multiple products on sale.
Run more than one ad per campaign
Use several variations of creative to see which is the most effective or has the higher conversions. Create multiple banners for the same campaign and test them against each other.
