Parla Webmail
Parla comes with Cloud Email Firewall that uses patented detection technologies to analyze billions of emails every day and provides all the heavy lifting required in the cloud so enterprises receive only clean email while unwanted email is retained at our datacenters for up to 28 days. Spam, phishing and malware message detection virus outbreak detection and advanced heuristic malware defense classifications are based on a cloud-based view of global outbreaks and live libraries and blocked before entering company networks viruses. Cloud Email Firewall integrates 2 levels of AV filtering by default that block email-borne malware outbreaks as they are launched in real-time, additionally other layers such as Kaspersky AV engine can easily be added. Parla includes Spamina Fingerprint Filtering®, automatic outbound mailing campaign detection and routing them for a new mailing platform.
Outlook Plug-in
Parla features full compatibility with Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail and other stardards-based POP/IMAP/iCal/CalDAV clients. With its built-in capability Parla provides two-way synchronization of mail, contacts, tasks, and calendar between Outlook and Spamina Parla Cloud. Employees that enjoy working with Outlook as their base Email client will not notice a
difference when checking their Email, creating their notes or managing their tasks. The plugin for Outlook will be available for 2007, 2010 and 2013 versions. With that you can configure the same things that you could configure from the webmail before, and more things like:
• Synchronize calendars, contacts and tasks from webmail to Outlook and vice versa
• Change all your data profile (Name, address, password, etc)
• Configure all filter data (White/Black lists, Rules, Filtering Mode Warning messages, etc)
Calendar, Address Book & Collaboration Easily manage your contacts, share your address book with other users, create repeating events in your calendar, set tags, manage and share tasks, create and share notes, check busy/available status and more with Parla calendar, address book, tasks manager and notes module. Stay organized and on schedule with our calendar, get event reminders while having a quick and simple view of your meetings with our easy to use interface. Attach files or docs to your event so you have the right materials when your meeting starts an easily invite other members to your upcoming meetings. Calendar sharing makes it easy to find time with the people you work and helps employees stay productive by removing access barriers.
File Sharing
As an integrated document management, Parla File Sharing eliminates the need for separate document management tools and streamlines the file sharing process across email messages reducing unnecessary stress on the corporate network while saving space. With File Sharing you can share folders across users and upload multiple files of any file type in one step from the desktop, File Sharing will identify each file type uploaded and provide automatic icon association. File Sharing is extremely useful to quickly preview file content thanks to its built-in file viewer. Mobile Devide Management (MDM) Parla includes a new feature to manage mobile devices, MDM. Parla uses the ActiveSync protocol, this doesn’t need any
additional download, just with the Wi-Fi or active mobile data, Parla will synchronize all your data automatically. Domain administrator will be able to configure different options for their domain users as allow or deny camera use, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Web browser, allow or deny download attachments, allow or deny send SMS text messages, compel to encrypt mobile device or to use a PIN or set number of seconds of inactivity before lock.
Integration with Cloud Email Encryption & DLP (optional)
Cloud Email Encryption is a powerful tool that helps companies to guarantee the confidentiality of emails and prevent information leaks through email and instant messaging. Parla users will be able to send encrypted messages and recipients will receive a new dispatch advice to sign up in the Parla Encryption platform, to read the encrypted messages. From this platform the recipients will be able to reply with a new encrypted message and keep on with a secure communication.
