Step 1: Start a New Application—select the button if you have just

com-pleted the OpenCCCapply account creation choose to Start a New

Appli-cation or if you are returning to the page Sign In first.

If you cannot remember your OpenCCC

username or password, just click Help under the Sign In and then contact the OpenCCC technical support.

Ohlone College does

not have access to your

OpenCCC log in information.

Step 2: Once you click Start a New Application, you will find the

Intro-duction page. Read over the instructions carefully before choosing to

Start Application.

This column on the left shows your application progress.

The full application instructions are on the OpenCCC apply page, and are not reproduced here.

Step 3: Choose your Term, Major, and

Educational Goal.

If you do not see the major or educational goal you would like to pursue, just choose the one closest to your preference—you will be able to change or refine this selection after you are admitted to the college.

Make sure you always select Continue to save and proceed to the next page.

Use Save only if you would like to stop fill-ing out the application and need to save your progress

Step 4: Verify your contact information.

If your information is not correct or needs to be updated before you apply to college, please choose Edit Account.

Step 5: Enter your address information for the college application.

If your address is the same as the contact information above, just check the first box and it will fill this section in for you. If your address is outside the United States, please check the second box.

Step 6: Please enter your gender and orientation information.

This section is optional. If you are not comfortable providing this information, you are not required to respond.

Step 8: Please choose your race or ethnicity.

If you do not see your race or ethnicity listed, please choose the one that most closely represents you.

Step 7: Make a selection for your status as a minor.

If the above statements do not describe you, select this option and enter your parent/guardian info.

Then choose your parent or guardian’s education level from the drop down options.

Choose the option that best fits even if no option exactly describes their educational experience.

Step 9: Enter your educational history.

NOTE: You will see a verification box pop up when you hit Continue—you will have a chance to correct your address if the one you entered is different from your parent/ guardian.

It is very important to enter this information correctly to avoid being charged as a traditional college student.

Select the option that best describes your school. If you choose the first option, then enter your school information.

Select No Degree for College Education.

For Colleges/Universities attended, you should also select

None unless you have taken concurrent courses through

another college. In that case, you will also need to enter the name and information for that college or university.

Step 10: Choose your citizenship or immigration information and

residency.

Some responses will open additional information fields. Please fill them out as completely and accurately as you can.

You also need to choose your military service information. It is included in this section be-cause can affect residency.

Be sure to enter choose the information below as accurately as possible, since it supports your answer to the residency question above.

If you are a minor, your residency is based on your parent/guardians. If you are 18 or older, your residency is based on you and the questions will refer to you instead of your parent/guardians.

Some answers will request additional information. Please com-plete it to the best of your knowledge.

Step 11: Choose your needs and interests.

Please select any program you may want to be a part of at Ohlone College. This selection does not require you to participate or qualify, it just lets the college know what programs interest new students.

Step 12: Select whether or not you are interested in receiving deaf or

hard of hearing services.

This question is optional.

Step 13: Enter your electronic consent.

Step 14: Review your information.

All information you entered in the application process is displayed here. If anything is incor-rect this will be your last chance to enter a corincor-rection.

You can save this information for your records as a PDF.

Once everything is correct, you will certify that you have reviewed and agree with the information.

Step 15: Submit your application.

You will need to review the statements and check the box to the left to agree to them. When you choose to Submit My Application, your information is sent to Ohlone College.

Step 16: Choose Finish.

Your OpenCCC apply ID and confirmation number are not for signing in to WebAdvisor or accessing any Ohlone College page. They are just verifying your application was submitted through OpenCCC apply.

Step 17: Optional survey and information.

This is your chance to voice an opinion on the application process and make any suggestions. If you have time, please complete it.

After you complete the application, and any time you sign back into the OpenCCC apply page, you will have access to additional links and information that may be useful to you in your college career.

Be sure to Sign Out when you finish.

Congratulations! You have finished the online application for Ohlone College!

You will need to complete your K-12th packet with signed permissions forms in order to finish your enrollment and receive a student ID. You can print the packet from the Admissions webpage or get it from your instructor if you are taking a college class through your high school.
