Various methods have been around forever, but recently improved technology gives you, our client, a wide range of hair extension options to choose from. There are methods designed to work with just about any type of hair and some methods can even improve the condition of your clients natural hair since their hair is protected by the extensions.

Training with Hollywood Hair
Our course will provide you with the knowledge and expertise to offer your clients a professional and quality assured service. Upon completion of your training you should be confident in the techniques you have learned and well on your way to becoming an expert in Hollywood Hair Extension applications.
Client Consultations & Hair Analysis
The course covers all of the different types of hair you will encounter as a hair extension specialist including dry, limp, fine, weak, shedding and ethical hair types. At the end of the course, you will be able to effectively identify which clients are suitable for extensions during the client consultation dependent on their hair type.
The Pre-Bonded System
The pre-bonded system is a hot bond method. The keratin bonds attached to Hollywood Hair extensions are attached close to the scalp to tiny sections of the client’s natural hair. A gentle heat, which creates the seal, is omitted to melt the bold at a low temperature avoiding damage to the natural hair. With the pre-bonded system there is minimum shedding, making it one of the most dependable systems available and a client favorite.
Colour Matching
The colour ring you receive as part of your starter pack holds samples of the full range of Hollywood Hair Extension colours available, including natural and eccentric shades. With such a vast range to choose from you’re sure to find a suitable colour match for your client. Alternatively, Hollywood Hair Extensions can be chemically coloured to ensure an exact match.
Your trainer will teach you how to achieve a perfect match. This is a skill which requires care and creativity as most clients will have more than one colour in their natural hair, whilst others may want to include highlights in their extensions for a more natural finish.
Same Day Collection
After colour matching at client consultations, Hollywood Hair Extensions can be ordered and collected on the same day from our Kirkintilloch salon. Alternatively, a next day delivery service is available for all hair
ordered before 4pm.
Aftercare Services & Maintenance
Training
Application
Once your trainer has demonstrated how to use the pre-bonded system, you will then practice the technique using a mannequin head under close supervision. You will be taught how to separate the bonds when working on fine hair, or on areas of the head where the bonds need to be more discreet. You will master the art of
perfect bonding, attaching the hair to different sections of the head to create desired styles. When you are
confident and comfortable using the system, you will then progress to the next stage of training, where you will learn to blend, cut, finish and style the hair to achieve a fully natural look.
Removal
Removal is just as easy as application. Your trainer will demonstrate how to remove the extensions without damaging the natural hair. We recommend Hollywood Hair Extensions are replaced every 3 months as the bonds grow down and will need replaced. After removal, a new set of extensions can be applied immediately.
Customer Care
Throughout your training you will learn the importance of advising clients on aftercare procedures. You will learn full details of aftercare, maintenance and up-keep routines. You will also be provided with an after-care instruction leaflet to offer your clients.
Pricing & Promotion
Our experienced Marketing Consultant will teach you how to properly price and market your Hair Extensions Service. We will take you through the full ordering process, client quotations, obtaining deposits and help you decide what price to charge for your time during application, styling and maintenance.
