INTRODUCTION
We are pleased to introduce our 2016 wine list. As always,
we have listened to our customers’ feedback, sampled a wide
range of wines (this was particularly challenging!) and of
course worked closely with our wine suppliers to provide a
wine list which befits Langley Castle and the cuisine served
in the award winning ‘Josephine Restaurant’.
Our intention is to offer uncompromising quality at
affordable prices and we really do feel that these
wines deliver on all counts.
The New World continues to offer some of the best value for
money, with South America especially, providing quality wines
at affordable prices. As ever, Australia and South Africa are
producing consistently high standards of wine.
And let’s not forget the Old World classics, which are still
the reliable, quality benchmark for many wine lovers.
France continues to produce an abundance of stunning
wines to suit all palates, while Italy and Spain are
enjoying a real resurgence.
So whether you’re here on business, for a celebration or just
