1.8) DS Agile GTW Settings
1) automatic logon : what for?
At start-up, OS and gateway application must start directly.
(No screen, no keyboard, no mouse)
2) SCADA deviation from protocol standard
Registry keys to scope with customer specification (cf. MF chapter)
Ex:
Maintenance_if_dcnx_ethernet = 0
So the GTW goes in maintenance mode if SBUS is disconnected.
Maintenance_if_dcnx_ethernet = 1
So the GTW sends to SCADA all DP as unknown with SBUS
disconnection time

- The automation requires to install RTX on GTWs, A real-time extension for Win32 platform.
- The RTX allows Windows to run only when all real-time processing is finished.
Note : GTW Case, Automation has the priority in GTW

What does it mean ?
- Data of the bay, managed by a GTW, are only transmitted to SCADA or upper network. Data are not transmitted to lower network.
- Command (xPC and SetPoints) are only send to lower direction. The command of the bay are only transmitted to lower network
It must be taken into account during the design of the automation.

•The automation runs simultaneously on both gateways (hot redundancy), but outputs are allowed only on the active gateway. • The redundancy of the gateway doesn’t manage the switch for the
automation, it has to be made through another automation.
