Scana Offshore group of companies will be present at the OTD in Stavanger, October 23-24 2013. The companies participating are:

Our main objective in participating at the OTD, is to update our old and new customers of the services and
products that we as a group deliver to the offshore market.
We also aim through these Offshore Technology Days, to meet and establish close and long lasting relationship with our customers and partners. This again will help us
understand their future needs for new and existing products and services. The Scana Offshore group of
companies has the combined
resources to enable us to establish new design, carry out detailed engineering, to provide raw materials, fabrication, assembly and test of advanced and new products and systems.
The Scana Offshore group is involved in maritime control systems, hydraulic valve control systems, advanced products and systems for handling and
offloading, in addition to maintenance and repair of drill-through and pressure control.

Scana Mar-El
Scana Mar-El is a part of Scana Propulsion and divided in two business areas, Maritime control systems and Agency business. The Agency business is a supplier of components and solutions for sensing and controlling mechanical devices in offshore- and maritime market.
Top competence in products from international leading manufacturers has been supplied to the Norwegian market since 1974.
Scana Offshore Technology
Scana Offshore Technology is a complete service centre for equipment maintenance and repair for the Oil & Gas industry. The company was
established in December 2005 and is located in Jørpeland near Stavanger. The Oil & Gas service centre started repair work on BOP’s in the early 1980’s and over 150 BOP’s have passed through the workshop.

Condition Monitoring Systems
To be aware of the state of a system and observe a situation for any changes which may occur over time, can prevent equipment breakdown.

Hydraulic and pneumatic actuatorThe Scana Skarpenord actuators can be delivered either as double acting- or singleacting type.
Quarter turn actuators are delivered with adjustable stroke or fixed 90 degree rotation with mechanical locking.
Control Circuits
Stainless steel control circuits are delivered as panels or enclosed cabinets and with various functions, all designed and built to meet the client specifications. High quality components are chosen to secure the best possible safety and performance.

Production, repair & services:
Scana Skarpenord AS is at all time keeping a complete service stock in order to deliver spare parts quickly. A staff of well qualified service engineers, also with safety course required for offshore, will at short notice perform necessary maintenance and service, onshore/offshore - world wide.
During installation and start-up, our service engineers may also be available for assistance and supervision. Detailed information for installation, start-up and maintenance will be given in service manuals.

Type Approval
The actuators, both the Scotch Yoke and the Linear type are type-approved by DNV.
