The Career Path standards listed below are designed to help a Project Engineer at Samet Corporation understand what skills, knowledge and experience they should gain while in the Project Engineer role in order to earn promotion to Project Manager 1. The decision to promote will be made by the Group Manager with input from Project Executives, Senior Project Managers, and the Director of Operational Excellence, as and they will use this document as a guide. The bullets under each “Evidence Standard has been met” contain potential ways to accomplish the standard. They are not intended to be an exhaustive checklist of required activities. The Project Engineer should engage in regular conversations with the Group Manager and sponsoring Project Manager(s) to ensure that they are progressing in their development and to agree on which of the following standards have been achieved. Scheduling
