Installing and Configuring Hyperion planning Adapters
We use same adapter for Hyperion planning which we have used for Hyperion Essbase
After you create an FDM application, you install and configure the Hyperion Essbase adapters. Hyperion Essbase adapters enable interaction between the FDM application and the Hyperion Essbase applications.
Adapters have two components—DLL/EXE and XML metadata. DLL/EXE files contain the system-specific instructions for interacting with target or source systems. XML files contain all data that relates to the current FDM application.
Previously we have downloaded the following driver Hyperion Essbase adapter is highlighted one.
Step: 1) Extract the V17386-01.zip file to same directory you will get following zip files
inside that.
Step:2) Extract the ES11x-G4E_1013.zip file to
C:\Hyperion\products\FinancialDataQuality\SharedComponents.
Step: 2) Open Financial Data Quality Management > Workbench > Workbench Client on
the Adapters tab, select File > Import.
Step: 3) Select ES11x-G4-E.xml, and click Open.
Verify that the adapters are displayed in the Target System Adapters section on the Adapters tab
Step:5) Select File > Register Adapter.

right-click Machine Profile, and select Add Machine Profile.
