2014-Present Chief Executive Officer, ShadowBox LLC

Oversee the development of the Shadowbox training platform with activities including: advising technical staff and contractors in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of the software platform; maintaining up to date research on current trends in learning and training for work in complex domains; creating and presenting marketing materials and other information sharing modes for various internal and external partners and interested parties; creating and maintaining the business plan, prospectus, company projections, and other pertinent documentation as needed; assisting with the business development process; and providing general managerial support for the Shadowbox group.

Deputy Senior Scientist and Managing Director, MacroCognition LLC

Manage the day-to-day operations of MacroCognition as needed, including: Providing expertise in research design, execution, and appropriate statistics methods, coordinating research staff to meet deadlines and other responsibilities, and serving as general liaison between the executive partners of MacroCognition and various internal and external partners.

Performed research related to human and system performance of Air Evacuation for United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). Research tasks included: literature reviews; interviews and system observations; task analysis; cognitive task analysis; work domain analysis; development of data acquisition design, apparatus, and measurement protocols; field studies and controlled lab experiments; experimental design and statistical data analysis; project activities management; verbal and written communication of findings.

2013 Director of Diversity Data Analysis and Divisional Professional Development Planning, Wright State University

Designed and implemented both inferential and descriptive analysis of data to better understand factors that contribute to student customer success and the achievement gaps on campus as well as designing program evaluation strategies regarding Division goals. Coordinated the creation and planning for an annual series of professional development activities for employees at all levels, ranging from student assistants, to administrative assistants, coordinators and directors.

Collaborated with the office of Marketing and Communications to develop division marketing materials, the format and content for a quarterly newsletter, donor brochures and other promotional pieces for various stakeholders of the Division of Multicultural Affairs & Community Engagement.

Ensured accuracy of data collection materials, budget adherence, and employee training certifications to maintain compliance with audit requirements for the Internal Review Board for Wright Sate University and the Air Force Research Laboratory.

2007 Territory Manager, Wachovia World Savings

Recruited Dayton area realtors for Wachovia Referral Program in an effort to introduce Wachovia to the Dayton community. Increased realtor membership by 30% over an 8-month period.

Supported enlisted realtors with marketing and solicitation strategies that improved participating realtors’ sales and overall client satisfaction. Received Award of Distinction for best marketing concepts in Greater Cincinnati Region.

Secured home loan referrals from realtors and other referral sources that generated over half of the loan department’s residential lending opportunities.

2004- 2007 Branch Manager, Beneficial Finance Company

Managed a loan portfolio of $50.3 million with an excellent understanding of business drivers while analyzing market trends and economic factors to ensure the portfolio’s long-term financial health.

2003- 2004 Project Manager, American Cancer Society

Planned and executed 5 Relay for Life fundraisers in the Dayton Metropolitan area that reached participation projections and raised over $375,000 to help fund cancer research.

Recruited over 100 volunteers to assist in community events that led to successful Relay for Life events across the Miami Valley.

Taught basic sales and cash flow techniques to event coordinators that improved the overall talent pool and strengthened the skill set of co-workers.

2001-2003 Communication Consultant, Cincinnati Bell Wireless

Consulted small business owners in an effort to maximize productivity through the use of local exchange and long distance telecommunications, internet and data services, and wireless communication devices.

Provided quality customer service to business clients and individual account holders and a member of service team that received the J. D. Power and Associates number one rank in customer satisfaction.
