GOM OILFIELD PROJECTS

Oceaneering International, Inc. executes small to mid-sized marine projects in the Gulf

of Mexico through offices in Houston, TX.

Work is performed on lump sum or day rate contracts with ISO 9001 quality standards as the foundation of each project and safety as a constant focus.

Each project integrates services for construction; installation; Inspection,

Repair and Maintenance (IRM); or plug and abandonment work. Experienced project managers coordinate each contract and provide a single point of contact. Project teams include seasoned project engineers who develop the detailed plans prerequisite

for the fieldwork.

Oceaneering’s Muti-Service Vessel (MSV)

fleet ranges from the 243 ft Ocean Intervention

to the 312 ft Olympic Intervention IV and are equipped with Oceaneering Millennium® or

Maxximum® ROVs. An alliance with Fugro

Chance offers the industry’s best-in-class ROV & survey services team.

Oceaneering specializes in subsea services ranging from complete diving services including atmospheric diving systems to deepwater diverless services utilizing the

world’s largest and most experienced fleet of

work class ROVs. Live streaming video of projects is available on request.

Project Management

Project management means safe and successful offshore job executions in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. Project teams gathered from our service lines provide the personnel, equipment, and services to successfully coordinate and manage each project’s work. Project managers oversee the teams and manage the work while providing our customers with a single point of contact. All

fieldwork is prepared with

detailed mobilization plans, schedules, procedures, and

HSE plans.

Project Engineering

Engineers with offshore

field experience work on

all phases of each project. Detailed engineering and design drawings are completed in advance of mobilizations. Capabilities include mechanical

design, structural analysis, Finite Element modeling

of flexible umbilical and flowline systems,

pipeline engineering, and the creation of detailed installation procedure drawings. Engineers support jobs offshore by coordinating installations,

seeing projects through to completion, and compiling as-built documentations.

HPRS 40 Reel Drive System

The HPRS 40 Reel Drive System is capable of picking up and turning loaded 300-ton reels with standard 28 ft and 30 ft diameters. The drive system holds 44 tons of back tension for

product spooling off the top and at the outside diameter of a reel via a standard reel hub

interface. The HPRS 40 includes an integral

reel tie-down for offshore transit, a hydraulic power unit, and a remote control station.

The whole package can be used dockside or mobilized on Oceaneering’s DP-2 MSVs

for offshore installation of reeled rigid pipe,

reeled flexible pipe, umbilicals, and flying

leads.

Carousel Lay System

For offshore installation of flexible

products, the Carousel Lay System is a horizontal reel with drive and handling systems. When loaded

with up to 450 tons of product, the

carousel can be lifted onto a vessel of opportunity. If product spooling occurs after the carousel is installed on the vessel, the capacity is 650

tons. The lay system includes the

carousel, level wind unit, bend shoe, tensioner, hydraulic power units, lay chute, and control station. On the

system’s track record is a flexible products installation of over 29

miles.

(9)

MODULAR EQUIPMENT OPTIONS

J-Lay System

The J-Lay System is a reeled

pipe lay system for offshore installation of reeled rigid pipe.

The system utilizes the HPRS 40

Reel Drive System for pipe storage and deployment while the J-lay tower straightens the pipe and provides access to the pipeline for inspection, anode installation, and

welding operations. The J-Lay

System features a constant radius roller guide atop the vessel stern A-frame, a seven-roller hydraulic straightener system, a pneumatic drive system to assist pipeline start-up, and multiple level walkway access. Installation capabilities

include nominal pipe sizes from 2 in

to 5 in with installation tensions to

20 tons.

4-Track Tensioner System

The 4-Track Tensioner System

performs deepwater installations

of flexible products. The linear

track style tensioner is capable of maintaining deployment tensions of

66 tons and recovery tensions of 75 tons for flexible products ranging in diameters from 3.15 in to 13.78 in. The system includes the tensioner,

a control van, and a hydraulic power unit. With the Carousel Lay System, the tensioner has installed umbilicals to depths of more than 5,000 ft.

Oceaneering has vessels and equipment

specifically designed for the offshore

intervention services required to inspect, maintain, and repair existing subsea facilities. DSVs are utilized for shallow water while dynamically positioned MSVs with integrated ROV and survey systems complete deepwater projects. At customer request, streaming video capabilities allow real-time monitoring of projects in-progress.
