Company Presentation

ABOUT US

We are Jasmijn Verreussel and Kaylou Toonen and we are the owners and founders of Elegant Events. In college we became friends. In this

time we discovered we had a very good co-operation. So in 2010 we decided to start our own business. Our office is in Utrecht, this is central

location for the Netherlands.

We organise business events. But not the ordinary ones. We create events with an elegant touch.

Because we only excist for one year we have a limited amount of clients. Our biggest one untill now was Talpa. We organised a kick-off party in

the beginning of September. This was a party to celebrate the official start of the new television season.

VISION

Elegant events is an event company who mainly organize events with an elegant touch.

Exchange of ideas, innovations, knowledge and experiences keeps people moving. This inspires and shifts boundaries.

MISSION

Our first priority are the needs of our customers. In our company quality is above quantity.

Starting points

During the intake appointment you gave us the next criteria to organize an event for your company:

Kuise Meisjes want us to organize an event because they also want to sell their accessories in the Dutch stores. So it will be like a

release-event.

The target group for this event will be the people who are responsible procurement of four Dutch jewelry shops; Lucardi, Accessorize,

Bijou Brigitte and Six.

The event will be for 400-500 people.

The message will mainly be that the target group of your event can now also buy your products to sell them in their shops.

The budget will be €40.000

The location has to be stylish. It also have to be at a central location in the Netherlands, because people are coming from everywhere all

over the country

There has to be a fashion show during the event in which you can show your product

During the event there must be time for speeches

The collection must been shown as decoration at the event

There must be served exclusive small bites during the event.

The dress code must be classy

Concept

DATE

The event will take place on Monday 23rd of May. It will start at 7.30 PM and end at 11.00 PM. BASIC

The basic colors on the event will be pink, black and white. This because these are also the main colors of ‘Kuise Meisjes’. The style of the event will be elegant. This means that their will be classy elements.

LOCATION

The location will be ‘Boerderij Mereveld’ in Utrecht . We will use 2 parts of the location. ‘ ‘T Koetshuis’ will be the main room of the event. In this room there will be a fashion show. The reception room and the mini-store will be in ‘ ‘T Achterhuis’. ‘Boerderij Mereveld’ can receive 500-700 people. ENTRANCE

At the entrance there will be waiters with pink champaign. When all the people are inside, the event will begin with a fashion show. SPEECH

Before the fashion show begins Gigi Ravelli will give a welcome speech. After the fashion show Marly will speech about the fashion show and their jewelry.

FASHION SHOW

When the visitors are settled the fashion show will begin. It will start with a sort of slide show of the jewelry at the end of the catwalk. After a minute of photo’s and mysterious music models will walk on the fashion show. It will take about 20 minutes.

MUSIC

During the event lounge music will be played as background music. During the fashion show a DJ is playing the music. After the fashion show a pianist will be playing for an hour with a singer. Not only classical music but also recent popmusic. When the event is nearing his end the DJ will take over and continue playing elegant music.

DECORATION

Every room will be used as a small exhibition. There will be several photos of the jewelry on the walls. The size of photo’s will be 2 by 1,5 meters. In every room you’ll see black, white and pink balloons to cheer it up. The catwalk is also decoration for the event.

In every room you can find big light with black lampshades as mood lighting. MINI-STORE

In ‘ ‘T Achterhuis’ there will be created a mini-store. Here, the potential buyers can see all the jewelry. In this mini-store designers of ‘Kuise Meisjes’ are working on the new collection. You can also try it yourself.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

During the event small bites and classy drinks are being served. Bites like smoked salmon, shrimps, gazpacho, mini-salads, avocado and fricandeau. The drinks will be like prosecco and cocktails. Other drinks are served at the bar.

END

When people are leaving the event the will all receive a goodiebag which is filled with discount vouchers and samples of the several sponsors.

19.30 20.15 Guests will arrive. At the entrance there will be waiters with pink champaign as a welcome drink. 20.15 20.30 A welcome speech of Gigi and Marly before the fashion show begins

20.30 21.00 Fashion show of the jewelry of ‘Kuise Meisjes’. During the fashion show a DJ will play the music

21.00 21.15 Afterwards Gigi and Mary will have another speech. The speech will be about the jewelry that was shown. The mini shop and the workplace will be announced.

21.15 22.30 A pianist with a singer will play modern and pop songs during the next hour. There is an opportunity to look around and have a drink

Because we are a new company we only have one big reference. In September we organised kick-off part for

Talpa Media Holding BV. This kick-off party was to celebrate the new televisionseason.

This kick-off party was a high exclusive party for 300 employees. The event took three hours. It was an event

including dinner.

The staff of Talpa was very satisfied with the result.
