Our video maintenance solutions gives you the assurance that when you show up for a meeting your video is up and running. This allows you to maximise use of your video equipment, and create a high performing conferencing environment. To achieve this, BT Conferencing takes a proactive approach to maintenance. Our video maintenance solutions allow us to identify and resolve most equipment problems before they impact your conferences. By evaluating the data provided through our online reporting tool, we’re also able to assess performance levels associated with your conferencing program. When then schedule Quarterly Business Reviews so that we can proactively discuss this information with all relevant stakeholders. Planned Meeting

• Chairperson schedules meeting via Outlook or Notes

• Chairperson inserts their Video MeetMe specific details, just as they would for Audio MeetMe conference

• Participants using video endpoints not dedicated to themselves, would reserve the video endpoint as normal

At time of meeting

• Participants dial into the Video MeetMe lobby

• Chairperson dials into the Video MeetMe lobby and enters the Chair PIN to open the meeting

Ad hoc Meeting

• Chairperson provides participants with the Video MeetMe dial-in details, just as they would for Audio MeetMe conference. This could perhaps be provided over a telephone conversation or an IM chat session

• Participants dial into the Video MeetMe lobby Dedicated resources to support Scheduled and Reservationless Video. We

can assist you with point-to-point or bridged calls with a suite of tools and services that simplify and increase user adoption. We also offer flexible service plans, from Self-service to Produced calls, depending on your varying conferencing needs.

Engage Meeting Manager

Engage Meeting Manager is BT Conferencing’s web-hosted application that gives you the flexibility and convenience to schedule, launch, monitor and control video conferences from your desktop computer. Designed with the non-technical user in mind, Engage Meeting Manager is an easy-to-use application that prevents resource conflicts and ensures that each video conference has the desired features available during a conference call.

Save time and money

Engage Meeting Manager requires no hardware or software to install and maintain. The web-based application increases efficiency through automation of your most common calls, and centralises room and video reservations into a single database to prevent over-bookings and errors. Engage puts scheduling into the hands of the end user, and allows the video conferencing administrator to focus on more technical aspects of their job.

Increase reliability

Engage Meeting Manager also lays the foundation for disaster recovery and overflow protection. We store customer site data in our database, so we can quickly load a call to a BT bridge should an emergency occur or resource constraints present themselves. Our system allows for bridge pooling resulting from overflow, so your conference can seamlessly move from a primary on-premise MCU to a secondary on-premise MCU. BT also offers consultation as a supplement to Engage Meeting Manager so we can help you take full advantage of this tool’s call management, scheduling and reporting capabilities.

Improve return-on-investment

Through Engage Meeting Manager, you’re able to connect different Telepresence technologies, maximise utilisation of your video conferencing investment and make well informed system utilisation decisions. As an example, you can run Site Directory, Conference Activity, Daily Video Schedule and MCU Utilization reports to show whether your equipment is being used to its fullest potential. In addition, with Engage Tracker, an add-on compadd-onent to the Engage module, you’re able to measure the actual ROI of your video conferencing program. Mobile Application Software:

The desktop, tablet, or mobile devices must use video software that supports H.264 based video along with either SIP or H.323 signalling. Popular examples of compliant software that run on Android, Macintosh, iOS and Windows devices include:

• Cisco JabberTM Video for TelePresence

• Lifesize® ClearSeaTM

• There are many other examples of compliant software for mobile and desktop devices. Furthermore most room-based video devices are also compliant

• Microsoft Lync 2010® is supported via specific hardware; please contact your video specialist for more info

• Skype, Apple Facetime, and Google Chat are not supported (they do not use H.264 video).
