- A project concerning the corrective maintenance and the upgrade of the site www.lentillesmoinscheres.com (front- office and back- office). The website, developed in 2005, is available in 10 languages and 4 currencies. - A project concerning the evolutive maintenance of the e- Commerce site www.sensee.com, whose objective is eyeglasses and sunglasses online sale, in addition to its activity of contact lenses online sale. Ecotravel is a company specializ ing in passenger transport in Orleans, its metropolitan area as well as in the largest French urban areas.
PROJECT
The development of an e- commerce oriented platform based on Magento allowing a new approach to the online sales of this type of services. In addition to this, the team has also thought of and developed a calculation algorithm for establishing route fares by optimiz ing distances and by taking into account various parameters such
as: the traffic conditions and, of course, the distances, as well as the urban constraints.
For processing and monitoring the bookings while on board, Pentalog has developed a native application for Android tablets which is to be used by Ecotravel drivers. A mobile application for smartphones (Android, iOS and Windows Phone) shall be implemented in the near future.
