Brief Idea: Generally 3 types of Paging messages. 1. Paging Message Type 1

Contains Paging for Max 2 mobiles, with IMSI or TMSI

2. Paging Message Type 2

Contains Paging message for 3 mobiles. 1 IMSI and the other 2 or 1 TMSI

3. Paging Message Type 3

Contains only 4 TMSI's.

This message normally for the Cell channel Informations. This will give the no of frequencies allocated for the particular cell. In hopping case this will indicate the frequencies in the MAL list along with the BCCH frequency. In non hopping case will indicate the TCH & BCCH frequencies.

This message gives the information about the neighbor frequencies in the idle mode. Will only gives the BCCH of the neighbors defined. And the NCC permitted parameter allows the mobile to restrict the neighbors to be sent in the measurement report.
