 Plan and implement special events for MSW students including professional development workshops; guest speakers; leadership workshop series; and Career Day

 Provide administrative support to students and faculty

 Complete data entry and analysis of faculty advising evaluations

 Serve on various committees including: curriculum committee; policy sequence committee; faculty advising sub-committee; and admissions

 Work with Dean and Associate Dean on special projects, including parental leave policy; promotion and tenure materials for fixed-term faculty; leadership surveys of MSW students

 Implemented the program evaluation for Tu Bienestar, an expansion project of Casa Esperanza’s substance abuse treatment services to Latino consumers (Dr. Lena Lundgren, PI)

 Responsible for questionnaire development, implementation of Institutional Review Board submission and communication and ensuring compliance with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health and Service Administration Government Performance Regulations Act

 Managed quantitative data; trained outreach workers and research assistants, and collaborated on dissemination efforts

Thembalethu Home Based Care; Mpumalanga, South Africa Principal Investigator

 Designed research study, conducted data collection and analyzed mixed-method data on home-based care workers to assess their readiness to undergo voluntary HIV/AIDS counseling and testing and emotional impacts of their work

 Conducted three, two-day trainings for 60 care workers on HIV/AIDS voluntary testing and counseling and safe sex negotiation

 Organized pre- and post-test counseling for personal HIV testing of care workers and their children

 Created a coding scheme to assess caregiving experiences from a subset of the Mills College Longitudinal Caregiving Study on Personality Traits of Adult Daughters (Dr. Judith Gonyea, PI)

 Analyzed qualitative and quantitative data on caregiver guilt and burden

 Assisted PIs with extensive literature reviews, manuscript preparation and presentations July 2003–May 2004
