RECONSTRUCTION STATE OF ALERTNESS TRANSITION PHASE / RECOVERY TIME RISK ANALYSIS / EVALUATION HANDLING PREVENTION REGENERATION PREPARATION / EDUCATION / TRAINING DISASTER

Our complex society gives us the challenge to make risks more comprehensible, and to be prepared. Physical and digital dangers are menacing public safety, the continuity of company activities and critical infrastructure. At Emergency Expo 2016, Ahoy Rot-terdam offers a broad platform for knowledge exchange and product innovation in the areas of safety, risk management and crisis control. Your expertise is of great impor-tance to the industry and government; through exchange of knowledge and experience the impact of future incidents can be reduced. Two days in a row, Emergency Expo is the place to be for showcasing your solutions and unique capabilities to representatives in the industry and government.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

Ahoy Rotterdam, together with the Advisory Committee and partners who are active in the safety sector, organizes a quality knowledge programme. A programme that connects the industry and the government in search of modern and effective solutions in risk management, crisis control and medical aid. The core message of the programme: effective crisis control through joint efforts and exchange of knowledge. Because knowledge is power.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND GATHERING

For everybody professionally involved in the field of safety it is relevant to know which other experts are active in the safety market and what products and services they offer. At Emergency Expo 2016, supply and demand meet and discuss the desired and available solutions for safety issues. For exhibitors a theatre and various stages are provided. Here you can interactively shine light on your organization and its activities with concise pitches.

INNOVATION FOR SAFETY

Emergency Expo is pre-eminently a stage for innovation. Risk management and crisis control are works of men, but supporting technology is essential in the execution. Developments and possibilities follow each other at a fast pace; a Drone camera with sensors provides a fast and razor-sharp image of incident grounds and clarity of the dissemination of hazardous substances. Virtual simulation systems are valuable instruments in effective teaching, coaching and practicing. Crisis teams cannot do without reliable management systems to share information and keep track of the current situation. The availability of wireless internet combined with social media, smartphones and tablets has led to unparalleled transparency and rapidity of information circulation. The changes in legislation, safety standards and maintenance have led to a change in relationship between the industry and the government.

COLLABORATION AND SYNERGY

There is a lot to gain with a close partnership and the recognition of synergy. Don’t think products, but think solutions that your organization can offer. Meet thousands of professionals to share your knowledge, products and best-practices with. That is the goal and origin of this expo. By opening doors a safe society and reliable business management can be reached. Welcome to Emergency Expo!
