Program highlights

This specially designed two-year accelerated career progression program is tailored for high potential individuals seeking exciting careers in the core banking and financial services functions of Operations, Risk and Sales.

The program is structured into 4 phases that will enable participants to not only acquire critical skills and knowledge, but also test them through real-time application in business.

Participants will need to continue to work and meet full performance standards on their existing roles in dunia, as well as additionally stretch to meet all program requirements throughout the program duration.

Covering key aspects of finance and banking.

Involvement in team challenges and projects on real business cases of strong strategic interest to dunia, and implementation of viable

Program modules

During the first 6 months, participants will be engaged in intensive classroom based sessions conducted every week. The program delivery will involve an interesting mix of case studies, presentations, group discussions, and individual and group assignments. Each month will focus on a different theme, and cover key business aspects.

Eligibility

• University graduates or post graduates

• Minimum 5 years of work experience, of which minimum 2 years of experience in one or more functions of front-line sales, operations customer service or risk

• For existing or past dunia employees, their performance on the job will be an additional consideration

Candidates currently not working in dunia are welcome to apply. If selected, they would need to join dunia prior to the start of the program.

• At least 2 reference letters from people who have been closely associated with you in a working or academic relationship, and who can attest to your professional abilities. These could include

• Responses to essay questions which are enclosed in the application form

• Evidence of other certifications / qualifications if any

Selection process

is a highly selective program. The rigorous screening process involved ensures that the class size is restricted to 20 high potential high performers each year. Candidates need to demonstrate technical, behavioral and cultural fit, which would be tested through a 360 degree process encompassing written answers to essay questions, recommendation letters, academic and professional performance assessment, and interviews.

DOORS is a blended learning 24-month-long program, offered at the sole discretion of Dunia Finance LLC and Dunia Services FZ LLC (together henceforth called “dunia”). Candidates applying for this program will be required to go through a selection process. Completion of the application does not guarantee selection, which will be at the sole discretion of dunia. Candidates from banks and financial institutions other than dunia can also apply; if selected, they will be required to join dunia prior to the start of the program. Candidates selected to attend the program will be required to meet all program requirements, including but not limited to attendance, participation, assignments and grades, while continuing to perform and consistently deliver results in their roles in dunia. Selected candidates who fail to meet any of the above requirements will not be considered to have completed the program.
