be filled out.

Once you have carefully reviewed and completed this PoC request form, please email

it to your Reseller/Partner or Kaspersky Lab Sales Representative, along with any

questions or required Non-Disclosure Agreement documentation.

Once received, your Sales representative will request trial keys and forward them to

the designated contact and schedule a meeting to review this document, finalize the

success criteria, and schedule the PoC with your preferred Reseller/Partner.

If you require clarification on specific questions, please contact your Sales or

Technical representative.

Sample Proof of Concept Tasks

This section will describe the typical tasks in a two day proof of concept installation using the assumption that a single OS platform is being evaluated. Additional time will be required to evaluate each client platform.

Preparation Steps

• Sign Kaspersky Lab Evaluation Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreement (if applicable) • Business and technical decision makers approve proof of concept scope and success criteria • Confirm receipt of license key

• Confirm availability of equipment that will be used for the PoC • Confirm availability of the customer technical resource

• Confirm business permission to make necessary configuration changes to accommodate the PoC • Delivery of any specific use cases to Kaspersky Lab in advance of arrival

Day 1 – Installation/Configuration

Activities/Goals

• Kaspersky Lab and/or Partner/Reseller team arrives on-site

• Meet with business and technical decision makers to reconfirm scope and success criteria • Install Kaspersky Admin Kit – 1 hour

• Install SQL database or integrate with existing database

Note: SQL Server 2005 Express is shipped with Kaspersky Admin Kit • Configure Kaspersky Admin Kit – 1 hour
