INTRODUCTION

The latest Addonics 1:9 HDD (Hard Disk Drive) Duplicator can copy as

many as nine target drives from a single source, making this the ideal

solution for production or data distribution applications. Addonics 1:9 HDD

duplicator operates totally as a stand alone. There is no computer needed

or complex software to operate. Set up is accessed via a LCM control

panel on the front of the unit. Once configured, simply insert up to nine hard

drives of equal or larger capacity than the master drive into the duplicator,

load the master hard drive, lock the drive door and push the start button to

start the copying process.

Model: HD9SITDRHS

1:9 High Speed HDD/SSD Duplicator PRO

About This Model:

The HD9SITDRHS model High Speed duplicator allows you to duplicate at the same high performance from one

to nine hard drives. It can copy any 3.5" or 2.5" SATA or IDE hard drive to eleven 3.5" or 2.5" SATA or IDE hard

drives in any combination. Drives are placed inside the easily removable drive enclosures to be used as a source

or target drive. With additional optional IDE drive enclosures, practically any hard drives or SDDs with a IDE or

SATA interface in 2.5" or 3.5" form factors can all be mixed into the nine target drive bays to be duplicated at one

time. By adding an optional Diamond Cipher drive enclosure, one can easily make backup copies of sensitive

data with bullet proof AES-256 bit encryption. The Diamond Cipher Drive enclosure can also be used as a

sanitiz-ing tool to turn any used hard drives into brand new drives with no traces of any previous data. This model is the

ideal duplicator for organizations with a wide variety of hard drives and needs to migrate OS or data into different

storage media, to upgrade systems with same hard drive image or to wipe clean data from used hard drives.

Feature highlight:

• Copy from 1 to 9 2.5"/3.5" SATA or IDE hard

drives

• Source drive and target drive can be SATA or

IDE, 2.5" or 3.5" in any mix.

• Ten SATA drive enclosures and one IDE drive

enclosure are included. The drive enclosure can

be used as a source or a target drive.

• Addition IDE drive trays are required in order to

copy more than one IDE hard drive

• Drive is added and removed from the source or

target bay via either a SATA or IDE drive enclo

sure

• Drive can be mounted into drive enclosure

without any special tool

Notes:

1. requires additional Diamond IDE drive enclosure (model: DISCSB) for each target drive

2. requires 2.5" to 3.5" IDE connector converter (AA25IDE35) for each target drive

3. requires additional Diamond Cipher SATA drive enclosure (model: DCSACS256) in conjunction with your

encryption key for each source or target drive. Please check the detail of the Diamond Cipher product at

Diamond Cipher overview page if you are not familiar with this option. Data copied to a target drive inside

the Diamond Cipher enclosure will be encrypted with AES 256-bit security. Data in the drive will not be

accessible when remove from the drive enclosure. You can only access the encrypted data when

Diamond Cipher enclosure is used as source, only hard drive that has been encrypted with the Addonics

AES 256-bit encryption should be used. If an non-encrypted hard drive is placed inside the Diamond

Cipher drive enclosure and use as a source drive, no data will be copied as the drive will appear as a

blank drive to the duplicator.

• Support any type of file format

• Maximum drive size >3TB

• Copy up to 3.0 Gbps depending on the performance of the hard drive

• Drive sanitization:

• SECURE ERASE - HDD duplicator sends a WIPE command to the hard drive. This command fills 00

string to entire HDD

• OVERWRITE - One pass, 3 passes and 7 passes 5220.22-M. The duplicator writes a string of pattern

over the entire disk one time, three times or seven times.5220.22-M is the DoD standard for drive

sanitization
