--- Rob Stevens:

National Partner Sales, Microsoft Canada

Rob is responsible for leading the Microsoft partner channel teams across Canada servicing the Microsoft Enterprise and Corporate customer space. As the senior leader of four national teams Robs organizations primary focus is on the Microsoft reseller channel and system integrators partners. Rob joined Microsoft UK in 2002, and moved to Canada in 2005. He has held a variety of roles in enterprise sales over the last 12 years, most recently Rob led the Office 365 cloud sales team for 4 years growing an exciting cloud business for the Canadian subsidiary. Rob is an avid soccer fan and coach for his two son's teams. He enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 sons and 3 dogs! Formula 1 and motor sports (motor bikes, cars and boats) are a passion of Robs which he loves to watch and participate in whenever possible.

Steven Burns:

President and CEO, Bulletproof Solutions

Steve started Bulletproof Solutions in the year 2000. This full service IT solutions provider started as an IT security and networking firm and has shown substantial revenue and financial growth each year. It was named in 2004 the 4th fastest-growing company in Atlantic Canada by Atlantic Progress Magazine. Over the years, under the leadership and strong entrepreneurial spirit, Bulletproof became Atlantic Canada’s Trusted IT Solutions Provider. The firm’s success is attributed to developing industry confidence through its people, their professionalism and unwillingness to accept anything less than perfection. Steve, a proud father and husband, resides in Fredericton with his wife Sara and their three sons -Duncan, Malcolm and Anderson.

Marc Gagné

Start-up Lead and Senior Technical Evangelist, Microsoft Canada

Marc Gagné is the Start-up Lead & Senior Technical Evangelist at Microsoft Canada with a passion for start-ups, the cloud & the web. Before embarking on this chapter of his career he worked at a start-up in his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario trying to solve the big data & analytics problem. This isn’t his first time with Microsoft though, having worked in Dublin, Ireland & Redmond, Washington as a developer and manager on a number of projects.

Stephen Green

Business Development Manager, Genetec

Stephen Green is the Business Development Manager for Genetec’s Cloud Services Group. With over 15 years of experience in the technology sector, Stephen has worked with Genetec in different capacities since 2001. His areas of specialty include: IP Video Surveillance, CCTV, wireless video systems, and Channel management as well as solution, hardware, software, enterprise, and vertical sales. Prior to joining Genetec, Stephen worked in sales, business development, and channel management at Verint and Cisco Systems. He joined Genetec full-time in 2009 to manage Major Accounts and grew the company’s national account business while leading sales efforts that resulted in a significant increase in the global presence of Genetec’s IP security solutions.

Terry Nikkel

Associate Vice President, University of New Brunswick (New Brunswick Session Panelist)

Terry Nikkel is Associate Vice President, Information Technology Services. Previously, he was Director, Information Services and Systems at the Saint John campus. Before joining UNB he was a tenured librarian at Dalhousie University, and also worked for a number of years for Honeywell International Corporation, in a large R&D unit. Terry has an MLIS from the University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from Dalhousie. Certifications include PMP (Project Management Professional), and CGEIT (Certification in the Governance of Enterprise IT).

Paul Elliott

Global IT Manager, Major Drilling Group International (New Brunswick Session Panelist)

Paul is the Global IT Manager at Major Drilling Group Int’l, Moncton, NB. He graduated with honors at Compu-College School of Business in 2000 before becoming a computer programmer in 2000. He has worked for Major Drilling Group Int’l for over the last 7 years in multiple IT roles. Before Major Drilling, he worked at Universal Truck and Trailer (JD Irving Company) on the Senior Manager group as a Systems and Process Improvement Manager. He is certified in Green Belt and ITIL Foundation and has many leadership course. He has put hundreds of hours into leadership and self-improvement through books and audios! He currently lives in Moncton, NB.

Perry Reagon

Solutions Consultant, Bulletproof Solutions

As a Solutions Consultant for Bulletproof Solutions, Perry provides technical presales services to the Atlantic Canadian based sales team. He has spent the majority of his 23+ year IT career providing professional services consulting to a variety of customers throughout the Atlantic Canada region, focusing primarily on enterprise infrastructure architecture and integration with Microsoft products and services. In the recent past, Bulletproof Solutions has focused on the Office 365 Microsoft offerings and solutions and Perry has become an Office 365 advocate and advisor to both our internal sales team as well as our growing customer base. Facilitating Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) sessions for a number of BSI/Microsoft customers is Perry’s most recent claim to fame. He is a Microsoft branded partner reseller technical resource and proudly carries a Microsoft business guest badge and credentials.

Andrew Field

SharePoint Practice Lead, Bulletproof Solutions

Andrew has spent the past 15 years architecting and deploying SharePoint Solutions for a wide range of Enterprise and Public organizations. Andrew has also spoken at numerous events on the best practices as they relate to SharePoint and SharePoint Online. In his current role, Andrew is the SharePoint Practice Lead at Bulletproof Solutions and manages a growing team of SharePoint developers, architects and business analysis.

Andrew Jefferies

Service Support Manager, Bulletproof Solutions

Andrew Jefferies is a founding partner in Bulletproof Solutions and currently heads up the Managed Services division. He comes from a background in information security and threat management, but has more recently loosened his tinfoil hat and focused on client service and customer satisfaction. Outside of Bulletproof Andrew enjoys sailing, Adventure Racing and music.

Rob Tyrrell

IT Manager, Nautel Ltd. (Nova Scotia Session Panelist)

Rob Tyrrell is a project and IT manager that has been in the industry for 19 years. His background has primarily been as a trainer, analyst, and information technology monkey wrench; that is, an IT generalist. He is particularly excited by the transformative use of SharePoint within workgroups and organizations. He has spent the last nine years doing hands-on IT management for a couple of very successful Nova Scotia based manufacturing companies, currently as the IT Manager with Nautel Ltd in Hackett’s Cove, Nova Scotia.
