How to Use “The Help Book”

The fourth edition of “The Help Book” contains comprehensive

data on over 300 health and human service agencies and

programs, providing over a thousand services to the people of

Phoenixville, Spring City, the Vincents, the Coventrys, Royersford,

Collegeville and the surrounding area.

“The Help Book” is divided into the following sections:

Quick Reference Pages:

Provide

non-emergency

(administrative) contact numbers for helpful government and

private services.

Subject/Category Index:

Provides a listing of services or needs

along with the names and page numbers of programs or agencies

that can assist you.

Alphabetical Listings:

Provides listings in alphabetical order of

all agencies that provided information for “The Help Book”. Each

agency had the opportunity to provide complete information on

their services and programs. Agencies listed under the category

“Information and Referral” are able to help you locate or receive

the assistance you need, and can help you if you are not sure

what you may need or where you should turn.

Although comprehensive information on each agency has been

provided, we encourage you to contact the agencies directly for

specific information on their services and programs. Every effort

has been made to provide accurate information; however, though

deemed reliable, this information is subject to cost increases, error

or revision and cannot be guaranteed. For your organization to be

considered to be included in a future edition of The Help Book,

please contact Open Hearth at 610-792-9282.

Most organizations listed in the Help Book will gladly

consider your volunteer assistance if you would like to help.

In fact, many agencies depend on your volunteer support.

Please contact the agency directly for further information!
